Completely useless if you do not have a UK national insurance number or a UK postal code. Please make this accessible to foreigners who need to submit self assessments as non resident landlords! Living abroad and having to rely on snail mail for this is extremely frustrating!!! Thanks

Worst login experience of the decade. What is this 2004? Why does the login screen keep timing out and disappearing after 10 seconds or a quick app change to check the code that you just emailed.

I’m so happy to have discovered the HMRC app . It holds all the information I need and has made paying my tax bill super easy .

Tonight 2/1/2025 I paid my Self-assessment tax bill to HMRC. No problem using the app.

This was very quick and secure

First sign up to the app. Asking for the goverment ID, copy in, the app starts over. No problem. Asking for the one tume code sent via text. Open text, check the code, back to the app…app starts over. Start over again, check text, code expired because is a new login. In the loop now, congrats.

This morning (01 Jan 2025), I opened the app to make a payment into my Help to Save account. However, the app closed unexpectedly, and now, when I log back in, it says a payment has been made and that I can’t make another until February. I’ve checked, and no payment has actually been processed.

Easy to set up, helpful reminders & a goodway to save for a short bonus

It’s hard to login. If you are using multiple apps, it just takes you back to the previous page. Therefore, you cannot copy and paste the 12 digit number and password and MFA. The IT civil servants are useless. I’m glad I didn’t accept their job offer.
