HomeCam for HomeKit

Video is frozen, connectivity is a problem, ir works on iPhone but for that you get Eve app for free. Nice that it can display overlays with room data but the purpose of using Apple TV to monitor cameras is defeated. I have it for one day, will try few hors more and if no fix i’ll ask for refund!

I guess I didn’t realize this app was just repackaging what HomeKit was already failing at. Same basically non visibility with this app as I have with HomeKit so I donated $8.00 to the cause. Had the app less than 2 hours.

This is an awesome application for viewing multiple cameras look amazing on my Apple TV! It even pops up when someone is in your camera range. And it’s so easy to edit the camera setup very easily, Couldn’t live without this App, along with the Apple TV

The screen turns off unless you keep touching it. Not helpful for baby monitors at night time. Could you fix that?

Cameras don’t always connect. Why aren’t apps refundable when they don’t work?

This app would be a lot better if it supported a snapshot mode where cameras are updated at a user-specified interval. Currently the longest refresh period is 1 minute, which is too frequent and drains battery operated cameras.

At first I had a problem but the problem seem to have magically disappeared.

Changing the order of cameras doesn’t work reliably. Disabling a camera randomly disables other cameras.

This app doesn’t work, it’s a complete scam. Don’t waste your money! Shame on the developer for stealing peoples money from people purchasing an app that doesn’t work. Typical snatch and grab.

HomeCam is fantastic. My wife and I recently had twins and wanted a way to use HomeKit Secure Video like a baby cam for security reasons, but we found the Home app to be a limiting factor in using it this way. HomeCam totally solves this. Not only is the app great, but so is the developer's customer service. When I encountered an issue using the widget on my iPhone, the developer got back to me almost immediately with step-by-step guidance. With the developer's ongoing commitment to innovation and user satisfaction, I'm excited to see how HomeCam will continue to evolve!
