I have the 5000 XL. The app shows it’s connected. But says it’s disconnected after a minute. If I restart the app, it shows it’s connected again, so I suspect it’s a problem with the app rather than the airfryer. Makes it a useless feature.

We spent a whole Sunday on trying to pair our new Philips Airfryer through the app with the Wifi on the Airfryer. At long last we got it to work. But there are still glitches somewhere in the communication between my iPhone and the Airfryer. Yesterday we had our first try with homemade fries for XL Airfryers and we tried to start the cooking with the button “Start Cooking” at the bottom, but this button didn’t work. We could set the time and the temperature, but it wouldn’t let us remotely start the cooking from the iPhone. We had to start the cooking on the airfryer itself through the on/off button. BTW: The fries were delicious!

Can not open an account! Verification code sent to email numerous times but keep getting ‘Error’ something went wrong, everytime I put code into the app!

Downloaded for use with coffee machine. Nothing works on this app! Totally pointless.

App needs to be improved as its pain to use it with Alexa as smart product like other devices. Also app don’t have option to turn off or on.

App does not seem to be able to be used if the phone you are using it on is also providing the hotspot as your home WiFi.

I bought the ‘connected’ air fryer (which cost £25 more) so I can control it from my phone. Hardly ever connects, should have just bought the regular version

Who’s idea was it to rename this app? I have Philips lights and air purifiers and they are not compatible with this app which makes the new name utterly pointless. It only works with Philips kitchen equipment which is fair enough but it needs to be called something else as this implies it’s a hub for Philips products. It’s not. Just as well really given the monstrosity of the hue lighting app. Another fail. Almost as bad as their website

I downloaded the app for my all in one cooker , but the cooker was not in the appliance section of the app! Even though it shows here as if it is! Disappointed
