Awesome potential but…..

Glitch, glitch, crash, won’t load, crash, freeze, deletes hours of work, crash, freeze, complicated to use, freeze, crash, glitch! Etc etc etc

This used to be such a fun app.

Until they did their second last update. Now it is full of glitches for many of their users, and has been for the past 6 weeks or so. The main one being it freezes up, kicks you out, and deletes everything you’ve done. Models are transparent so they are impossible to place, or they are loaded backwards, room templates are missing components after publishing, walls appear a different color than the chosen one, and models are missing. Reached out to HS a dozen times regarding issues and so have other users, but to no avail. They come back with one question per day, then pretty much ignore the situation from that point on. Very, very frustrating and disappointing. Shame on you HS for ruining what was a fantastic app.

Bad Performance. Bugs all around

Shoot & Design button crashes on click. AI Designer does not prompt for photo access and hangs with an infinite spinner. AI Designer also changes the layout of the room. They should add an option to add funiture only.

Continuous technical problems & total lack of support

UPDATE: HS started to respond to my technical questions; however, they still could not help me with the login problem. I just bought a new phone, and everything started to work by itself. HS gave me all the required badges, but the UNETHICAL behavior has been persistent in the challenges without any explanations. SAME people are still chosen for the winning and featuring over and over again. And the DISCRIMINATION has been noticed! HS does not give its Herostyler badge to Russians and Ukrainians. Also it does not let Russian and Ukrainian designers stay at the top of its challenges by featuring people of other nationalities and giving them bots that help move their designs to the top. ********************************************** The Homestyler technical support group never responds. They do not help me to login to my account. They do not give badges for winning and featuring designs. They choose the SAME people for winning and featuring over and over again. They support ugly environment in their challenges and in the community of designers. In general, they behave very unprofessionally and unethically!

Love it!

I absolutely love this game! I can just relax and design. Plus unlike other games, even if you don’t have a membership you still get tons of furniture and rooms! Absolute recommend! Best game I’ve ever played in my life! No joke!

Difficult to use

It is very difficult to use and the AI totally ruins the layout into another room all together I can not use this for real estate needs

It wouldn’t let me do the tutorial.

Every time I try to tap the icon on the tutorial it keeps saying to try again later?? Why can’t I just skip the tutorial if it’s just causing me so much trouble like I can’t even use the app.

What happened??

This app used to be so good. I haven’t went on it in a few months due to a busy life, but went on recently and was excited to see a better layout. However, that excitement went away when I started designing. Too many designs on there use already staged rooms, which almost defeats the purpose of designing your own creation. Not only that, there is much less furniture to use, and a lot of the furniture that I was interested in using has to be paid for because of membership fees. I hate to complain about games, but this is a very sad change.
