Hoover Wizard

Terrible/“unique” (in a bad way) design. Often doesn’t find my washing machine, I have to quit the app/relaunch it, or turn the washing machine off and turn it back on to the WiFi settings - this happens nearly every time I use it. Every month or so the app just crashes on every load, and I have to delete, reinstall, log back into the app. Hideously bad, feels like the creators have never used an iPhone app before.

I mean I guess it mostly works. The app looks pretty bad, I truly question who designed it. The “feature” the annoys me the most is that the doors never unlock after finishing a cycle. So the machine beeps to say it’s finished, you wait the two minutes, and then go to open the door. It’s still locked. You have to turn the machine off, then wait two minutes, and then you’re able to get your clothes out. I just cannot fathom as to why this is a thing. In fact, I’m assuming it’s a bug? You don’t need to do this unless you use the app

Just tried to connect our 2024 hoover oven to this app and it says that the serial number / QR code is incorrect. WHICH IS CLEARLY ISN’T. So I now can’t link my oven to the app. Great:(

How did this ever get anywhere near approval?!! This app takes buggy to new levels. It’s over complicated to begin with, with many more options than are useful, although some of that is a just mirroring the washing machine itself. It remind you about the cleaning cycles but can’t actually do them or tell you how. Who thought that ‘Log In’ and ‘Sign In’ being separate concepts was user friendly?! And worst of all the app gives up completely after a week or so of any level of usage, whereupon it continually crashes on launch, the only way to fix it being uninstall and reinstall - a process I must have done at least 50 times now as this app is the only way to use my washing machine fully. How is this even possible with Apple?! Worst App Ever. Ever. Truly an achievement!

It’s not good , I thought I would get extra control but it just downloaded manual , no Bluetooth functionality etc.

It’s stopped working, don’t think they’re bothering updating the app, I’d look to buy a washing machine/ dryer from a company that updates their app

App just cycles saying to use a phone with NFC to get full functionality. Well thats great the dryer doesn’t even show error codes so can’t see why it’s stopping halfway through cycles having to check to see if it’s running every two minutes so I can press the start button again. Surely it should have advertised better that apple users shouldn’t buy the product if it’s incompatible to begin with.

If this app is an example of hoover technology I’d suggest you don’t buy hoover. Worked ok until WiFi changed at home so tried resetting with QR code. Now it says Attention This product is no longer connectable to the Hoover Wizard app therefore the product will no longer have the features that you come with Hoover Wizard app Thanks Hoover. Useless

This app used to work on ios. Now it wont even load or continually crashes and is totally unusable if used on and iphone or ipad even latest models. Developer seems to show no interest in resolving this issue. Apple please remove this app if developer refuses to make it fot for purpose!
