Hostfully

App keeps lagging, logging me off and I have to exit the app to refresh pretty often because content does not load or it is stuck. It is really frustrating to use. Currently, it is just not loading anything for me at all. Whenever i open the app, all i see are the three dots…

The app loads super super slowly. Half the time I have to close out of it completely because it won’t load at all. It is also not sending me new notifications from clients. I get notified on airbnb and Vrbo then I go check Hostfully and yep, there is a new message. I really need the app to work better as I am constantly out and about rather than sitting in front of my computer.

I’ve been so disappointed with Hostfully’s app. It has been getting slower and slower every day and I’m sick of seeing the “blue dots of death” as the screen loads and loads and loads. There are so many features missing from the app too that are only available on the desktop version, which makes looking things up on-site difficult.

If I could give it negative five stars, I would. Nothing like waiting 20-30 seconds to get guest information while you have a guest on the phone and you’re trying to retrieve their info. PIECE OF TRASH!

We have used Hostfully for a number of years and been overall disappointed with the amount of bugs they can’t seem to solve in a timely manner. Support is limited to live chat, which responds like a broken record “We have reached out to our Dev team and they are working on it!”. This goes on for weeks, and they require constant badgering to get updates. The features are all there to make a solid PMS, and I think it would be a great platform if it was stable - but the software is constantly breaking and takes weeks to solve simple issues. App is painfully slow. I’ll consider adjusting my review once they fix our texting feature, which we have programmed to be the basis of our operation for guest communication. Overall, if you’re looking to transition to a PMS, I’d look elsewhere for a more stable option with competent support agents.

Hostfully’s app is extremely robust, yet user friendly. It allows me as a host to run multiple vacation rentals on numerous booking platforms seamlessly. With a click of a button, quotes can be sent and all communication / calendars can be managed from one central location. Reporting goes direct to owners in their reporting module, streamlining my business. Top notch customer support! 👏There are a lot of choices, and we are thrilled that we chose Hostfully as our partner. Highly recommend! 🎉

The app is terrible and virtually useless. The platform itself has some great concepts but they aren’t truly available and usable. Random bugs cause property details to change and thus not searchable on VRBO and AirBnB. Getting live help is virtually impossible. To top things off they recommend Stripe for payment processing without fully explaining the process. Then Stripe won’t distribute your funds which currently has me in a death loop submitting the same information over and over and refusing to send my payouts.

Hostfully has helped streamline so many aspects of my short term rental business. Besides the business aspect they are just really great people to talk with. Highly recommend
