Hubspace

The ap never works. One of my two lights constantly goes offline and requires me to completely remove the light from the inventory and upload again. Waste of time.

I really like these water timers Takes care of two hoses with one timer and each hose has its own separate timer. Great product. Takes the guesswork out of Amazon single timers. Hubspace s easy to use to change times, days, etc. great product we have three of them. Will eventually replace all my single hose timers.

I have two smart bulbs setup in my room and the app has worked fine this first week. I would really like to see better support for iOS either integrating control options into a Widget that can be accessed from the Lock Screen/ Home Screen or options to control the Hubspace app from the Control Center. That would be my only complaint is that there is no way around opening the app everytime I want to adjust or switch the lights on or off. I don’t use any voice assistant or smart home tech so all my controls are going to be input manually on my device.

This device is sooo unreliable. It got disconnected randomly when we’re away from the house.

Never will I trust defiance brand

I had posted the following review about a month ago. Since then, and a couple of application updates later, I can say the plugs have been performing much better. So much better I considered 5-stars but decided on four because of the inconsistency. Will give it more time and update for better or worse later. I originally bought two of the Defiant Smart Plugs (Model HPPA11AWB) and was happy with their performance. So much so I bought three more. Apparently all good things come to an end. Over the past few months at least one, typically multiple, plugs will lose connection with the Hubspace app on a weekly basis. If you try to reconnect via the app it will not work, you have to unplug the smart plug and plug it back in which, given their location in my house, is a pain. Not sure if it’s iPhone related or not but I do know I bought my last Hubspace product and will be replacing these.

I love these lights. I have them all around my house for ambient light. It’s perfect for me. Thanks!!

apps should never be asking for your location, not even once point blank. you can not convince me it’s necessary you are already using my wifi and bluetooth

I turn on the app and no response at all , connected to wifi or not it doesn’t work

I’ve had these ceiling fans (home decorator’s collection, from Home Depot) for about 6 weeks. They’re controlled by Hubspace, which constantly loses connection and is difficult and time consuming to get working again. The lights and fan speed can’t be controlled independently without the app, making this a giant pain in the butt. I have a house full of smart devices and —because of the hubspace platform— these fans are the least reliable.
