Hunter BTT

I will be returning this ‘timer’. I set up a schedule and it doesn’t come on. Tried manually Turing it off from the app and the water continues to pour out. App constantly disconnects and then the automated timer/cycling doesn’t work. I wanted this timer to work while we are away on holidays and I can’t trust it to work. Hire better app developers!!!

The usability is great when it fictions, but most of the time I can’t connect to the BTT valve because it crashes every to time it tries to connect. The app is either half baked or needs more updates.

after a few yrs of service which was great this no longer works . i have not changed anything, but the app suddenly cannot find the timer. batteries are fully charged. deleted app and reloaded several times. i was going to get another one but seeing the newer reviews, will look for a different irrigation timer. it is too bad this is the height of summer and the garden is bone dry without the 5 am drip going. i hope my garden doesn’t die. i have IOS. Hunter fix the app!!!

I really like the product but the app crashes more often than it doesn’t. You can still manually press the button on the timer to turn the water on but for scheduling changes (which is the only reason you would buy one), you need the app- also having a hard time finding a way to contact Hunter about it.

App works but bluetooth has a terrible range (about 10 feet). App needs to “search” for available controllers and “connect” to it EVERY time you open the app. And then if you dare to move an inch, you’ll lose connectivity. The developer says this is updated frequently…it’s not! Scheduling is unnecessarily complicated. I would not have bought the controller if I had experienced this app first.

Works great with the Android platform but will automatically shut down on the Apple platform. Had to return 2 of them it to the store before realizing it was a problem with the app. Hopefully Hunter’s IT team can resolve this issue sooner than later.

There’s no real support through the Hunter website, so I’m reporting this issue here. Perhaps they will see the 1-star reviews and correct the problem.

Hello hunter company? Please update your app. It’s not working!

Can’t even use timers because app just closes all the time. Have deleted all timers and app multiple times and still doesn’t work. Don’t waste your time on these

Simple to use and very reliable. The app works great and the Bluetooth range with my IPhone is great!
