Hushmail

iphone had an update that included a password app which instructed me to change my hushmail password saying it was compromised. the app didn’t save the suggested strong password so the password was lost. hushmail doesn’t allow you to reset your password if you don’t know the current one. so i lost all my contacts and have to get a new email and order all new business cards.

I’ve been using this app for years now and while it is convenient, it’s pretty buggy and no-frills. I’ve contacted them a number of times about the fact that there is often difficulty connecting to their servers and my response is usually that I need to restart my phone or delete the app and re-download it. I’ve also recommended that they have an option that you can print your emails from the app, but I got a very generic response thanking me for my feedback and that they are “constantly updating their product”, yet this is still not an option. Imagine that in 2024 you can’t print directly from your email app on your phone!

The app is not able to take the password and log me in… I have to go to the web… This is super inconvenient and not what I expect from a top service… please get the app updated… PLEASE! Thanks! Once it’s fixed, I’ll switch my review to the five stars that I’d normally give Hushmail! ❤️

The app started showing it is not compatible with Hushmail Premium.

So many glitches and often will not load emails. Pointless to have an app for email if you can’t even open the emails. I have to delete and re-download the app several times a week to get it to download emails.

Notifications have now stopped working. For a professional service this app is embarrassing. Please, hire new devs to fix this app—it has been chronically bugged for several years now.

It’s sad. The company pricing went up and I gained more storage, yet I’m experiencing the same problems. Star was added to the emails yet the app has no update and that was I’d guess 4-6 months ago?? I’ve also had send-receive issues and have considered Protonmail.

If I use a Google login and password when accessing hushmail on the web, why will the app not accept those login credentials???

I enjoyed using this app on the go to readily respond to clients and co workers. I have not had any difficulties with the app and can use it online and on my iPhone.
