Why would you not record a single workout or even allow for longer than a FIVE minute session without paying FORTY FORTY DOLLARS a month. Are you kidding? This machine is nearly $3k and is totally useless without a ridiculously overpriced app. So disappointed looking into returning my machine.

Bought my Hydrow Rower from a guy off marketplace (only I use FB for) for $800. My initial misgivings were high. I figured it was just another cheap hype machine. I was looking for something to complement what I had, and my gay friend Pooky told me about this app. “They’re all the same,” I said. “That’s what you said about girlfriends, and the last one stabbed you four times, poisoned you, and left you for dead. At least this app won’t sleep with all of your friends and try to kill you,” he said. I thought, why not? Pooky was right. This is going to be my go-to from now on. It’s easy to use, easy to understand, and the perfect addition to my workout repertoire. Not to mention I can share it with my friends and not worry about syphilis or gonorrhea. You guys really outdid yourselves! Thanks a million!

I used this app in the past and loved it. Just rejoined and realized when I use my Apple TV there is no music during the workout. When I view the same workout on my phone, it plays the music. I saw similar comments on Reddit. Please fix this issue because I really enjoy these workouts with the music.

I typically use my app for rowing and connect it to Apple TV via airplay. For two years had very few issues. After this last update I can no longer hear music with rowing sessions. My phone gives me the option to play more or less music during the row but no matter what I select I get only the voice of the coach. Please fix! Thank you! Great app otherwise.

Because there are so many videos, it would be very helpful to be able to search across them. There are also programs with various instructors that have increasing levels of difficulty as you build your skill, but it’s nearly impossible to find them in the intended order. Love the videos, but what a bummer the basics an app should have aren’t here.

Great content, love the on water classes and instructors. I have a concept2 so integration with pm5 would be nice. But more importantly the digital app should show target metrics, otherwise you have to pay close attention to the cues and remember them. Even with the great content I’m likely to cancel and just go back to apple fitness where they at least show spm on the screen etc.

The Hydrow workouts and instructors are excellent. There’s a huge variety of workouts of varying intensity and duration to fit in just about any schedule and level of fitness. The music selection is also great however there is no way to adjust the audio mix between the instructor and the music. In many cases I can barely hear the music. Hydrow says there are options on the app to adjust the audio mix but I can’t access them on either my iPad or iPhone which is unfortunate given the cost per month for the app.

The video production is top notch. I like the trainers and the workouts. However the app lacks even a basic text search forcing you to rely on filters. You can’t favorite videos, you can’t earn trophies, you can’t track sensors as it’s really just a way to make money outside of Hydro's own rowers. $15 a month for what is basically a rowing video player is ridiculous. Youtube is better, and cheaper. Let’s hope Hydrow starts to care about users who don’t have a $3000 rower in future development of this app. Update: the dev claims you can favorite videos, I removed the app and can’t test it. I did try several times to favorite videos from the list view and the description view and it did not work. The dev also claims you can earn badges, but again this did not happen in my trial. My rating stands.

Really enjoy using Hydrow’s Digital Subscription. The athletes are great and the on-water experience definitely makes the workout more enjoyable.

Music overpowering instructor’s voice. No way to adjust music independently in basic digital subscription.
