Beschreibung

Inflow is designed by people with ADHD, for people with ADHD. We’re not a glorified Pomodoro timer or calendar. We’re a science-based digital program, here to help you manage your ADHD/ADD.
Do you struggle with focus? Organization? Procrastination? What about attention, hyperactivity, and anxiety? Is your calendar, planner, habit tracker, or timer still not helping you organize or get things done? Is your to-do list just not cutting it?
Your ADHD/ADD diagnosis doesn’t have to hold you back. Inflow can help.
Inflow is based on the principles of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), proven to be effective in the management of ADHD/ADD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder).
Many people see ADHD/ADD as just a deficit or disorder. But the key to thriving with ADHD starts with understanding and embracing your unique ADHD brain.

Inflow also sets you up for success with:
- Daily activities and visual reminders integrated easily into your daily life
- Daily focus feature so you can prioritize more effectively
- A stigma-free and supportive ADHD/ADD community to motivate you

ADHD/ADD can be challenging, but that doesn’t mean accessing support should be! If you’re tired of the day-to-day stress of managing ADHD/ADD, we’re here for you.
You don’t need to have a formal diagnosis or evaluation to use Inflow!
Reminder: While we are an ADHD/ADD app first and foremost, we cover numerous executive function skills, which can be applicable to autism (ASD), OCD, depression, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and more.

Ridiculous advice

“You have ADHD. You struggle with time management. Have you tried… not struggling?” is the gist of every “lesson”. Time blindness - oh don’t worry, just get a few more clocks, then you’ll be fine. I don’t struggle to KNOW the time?! I struggle to understand when to move from one task to the next, when it’s too late for me to get somewhere on time… it’s not just “oh look, it’s 4pm, I have an appointment at 4:30pm, best leave now” and the struggle is magically fixed 🤣 A *real* quote from a lesson I just read is “ADHD doesn’t have to be in the driver’s seat of your life. You can take the wheel now. Where you go next is up to you.” Oh gee, thanks Dr Patronising. Hadn’t thought of that in my silly little ADHD brain. Of course, the answer is just to make different choices!! Doh! For £40 / month, I’d expect to at least not be patronised. Do better.

This app markets itself as being a management tool for ADHD…so far all I’ve managed to find are condescending “lessons” for me to learn about a condition I’ve had for nearly 40 years!🙄🤣 all I wanted was an efficient calendar and to do list and time management tools all in one app cos no one seems to have come up with that despite telling us “they’re thinking of people who struggle with ADHD” in the design and purpose of this app!🤣 oh and then there are lots of “don’t worry we’ll remind you before we charge you if you forget to cancel your subscription”…then a yearly charge on your card when you think it’s cancelled as they have different sections that you have to navigate your way to in order to do this rather than appearing in Apple subscriptions even if you’ve downloaded the app and paid by Apple Pay!!! When I requested a refund rather than just issuing it I now have had 3 emails and been sent a form to fill in…is your company really tailoring its services to people with ADHD or just targeting them as easy cash?!😡

Charged me $199.99 despite cancelling before end of trial period

And are now refusing to refund me because the grace period mentioned in their refund policy has passed. Never mind that this is irrelevant since I already cancelled! They claim I didn’t, that they didn’t hear back from me when they sent a reminder email, and that “it's possible that the message ended up in your spam folder”. I actually check my spam folder regularly so I know nothing went there. Besides, none of their emails have ever gone to spam, why this one? And indeed if I didn’t cancel but instead paid $200 for the app - whose material I didn’t find particularly helpful - you’d think I’d at least use it. I only opened it during the trial week and yesterday when I saw the charge on my foreign bank account. They also had the nerve to tell me they’ll offer me a free annual subscription as a way to make up for the frustration. No. I don’t want your app. I didn’t find it helpful so I cancelled before the end of the trial period. You charged me all the same (I’m not alone in this btw). This is the crux of the issue, setting aside reminder emails and regace periods and spam folders and whatnot. It is unacceptable. I expect I’ll get a developer response rehashing the same claims and offers, instead of doing the single right and sensible thing: refunding me for the hefty fee. I’ll be reporting them. PS: The fact that there is a) no notification sent pre or post charge (not even a generic email saying “thank you for your subscription, you now have access to abc resources until xyz date” etc) and b) choosing to automatically charge an ANNUAL subscription fee, not monthly, quarterly etc, for an ADHD support app tells you all you need to know about them.

This app has been just the right amount of helpful without it feeling overwhelming. It has been super insightful and puts learning about adhd fun and informative. The brain hacks are easy to do without it feeling like yet another task and they are so achievable making one feel accomplished.

Yeah… no…

It’s hard to justify the cost of the subscription when the core of the content is just the same info and tools that you can learn online for free or from any mental health councillor if you see one. Everyone, who’s been trying to address procrastination, messy home, disorganisation and overwhelm, heard about pomodoro technique or SMART goals and chances are, they don’t really work, otherwise there would be no need for yet another app peddling the same tired techniques. No need to pay over 180 quid a year to get the same content. There’s some social aspect to the app but I haven’t explored that other than some daily questions. What this app does is to give you some info and some quizzes about it but if you’re really looking for a good tool to help stay organised and on top of things then I suggest Strides - it’s free, you can trial it for free, you can subscribe for extra templates but what it does, it actually helps you manage your daily life. At least the cancellation process has been fixed and I wasn’t charged after I cancelled the trial.

Scam

Hidden charges and doesn't show up on apple subscription. Absolute scam

Unhelpful

The app hasn’t told me anything I don’t already know under the Burnout module, what I need are the tools to put those things in place. How am I supposed to choose what things can be sacrificed in my life if I don’t have anyone I can delegate tasks to or ask for help? How do I abandon my vulnerable elderly mother with dementia to make “me time”? It’s unrealistic advice because it assumes that it’s all our own fault and the things we take on can be set aside, but that’s not always the case and there is no deviation in the advice to help you determine what things can be set aside and what the priorities are. I’m deeply disappointed because I’d really hoped this would be a turning point for me but I’m back at square one.

Far too expensive

Sumpte. on

You have to go through the whole sign up process to realise they want to charge at least £200 per year (and that’s paying upfront).

Don’t bother signing up if you just want to demo it for free with no commitments

The app is stuck behind a paywall so once you go through the arduous process of giving all of your personal details and answer questions about your ADHD, verify with a code sent via email etc etc etc You get a message saying you’ll be charged if you don’t cancel after you free charge (although you can supposedly email the team and request a refund..). The annual subscription cost is far too greedy -£200 a year / £50 a month, for what the app can actually offer. For someone with adhd wanting to see if this will actually be helpful, or just another lost expense in the pursuit of adhd support, this isn’t isn’t the app for me. There should be more transparency from the start about the very high cost, and also, more thought given to a demo/free trial.

Expensive

I do love this add .I only subscribed because I saw that a payment option for about &20 a month but when I finished trial my only options are £49 a month or £199 a year which I can’t afford. It’s very misleading
