IPSY: Personalized Beauty

No matter what I do the app is timing out, “downstream duration timeout” or “upstream duration timeout”. I’ve force quit, uninstalled and reinstalled, idk. Keeps happening. Won’t let me use the app at all

The points were working properly last month but now it’s back to not adding the points for reviews.

I subscribed to ipsy and it turns out that several products arrived damaged and broken as well as the box, totally disappointed

I got the box charm that I still didn’t receive. I made my membership on 6/7 still didn’t receive my box 🥲 I got email a sneak peek on my July box,and another email to review what I haven’t received,like how ?????I didn’t even get to hold my June box. I was excited to stay with this subscription but I had to cancel since shipping is taking forever.

I like Ipsy except it says 4+ but when you put your age the youngest is 13.

I had ipsy for years and was constantly frustrated with missing items, nothing actually personalized to my preferences, often getting emails saying “just kidding, we don’t have any more of the item you picked” and long wait times to receive the box each month, and a few times it didn’t come at all. I cancelled. After about six months I had a weak moment and signed up again this month, as I did discover a few items through Ipsy that I still love. First month back, there’s a missing item. I let them know. I get a tracking number for the replacement item. 9 days later it still hasn’t showed up and the tracking says the shipping company is still awaiting the item. Just a subpar experience over and over again and they don’t care. They never improve on it. No standard of excellence with their service. So, done for good this time. And the app has very subpar functionality as well.

i got a glam bag membership and only wanted to receive one and then i would cancel the membership. i thought i did but continued to receive notifications about upcoming bags. i contacted ipsy help and i received the next bag for free. i thought i had successfully cancelled but i began to receive more notifications about upcoming bags. how do i cancel this?!?

I’m not getting points when I review the products. Are you getting rid of the point system. I have not received points in months so how do get points now. I don’t like your site now.

I’ve been a member of Ipsy since 2020. I’ve cancelled once already due to slow shipping and no actual customer service agent that you can speak to about questions/concerns. I gave them another chance and this time around I think I may be done for good soon. Their add ons are a joke, too small for the price and they keep sending repeat products or items I don’t prefer. Why do I bother filling out a beauty profile if they’re gonna keep sending me things outside of my preferences?? You can also no longer earn points for individual product reviews. You now just get points for overall bag/box reviews. It’s a shame but I’m just waiting to make sure they’re not able to charge a card I have on file once I cancel again as I’ve heard the horror stories and recall they did the same when I cancelled the first time.

Have been subscribing to ipsy for years and the ipsy app for a few years. In the last few months it goes white and only way to fix it is to delete it and download again. Can’t even get through the flash sales without reloading! Sad
