Well ...
... I hoped to have found a successor for my beloved original iSSH, which is not longer available. Unfortunately - not. This app apparently does not support prompting for a password as the [save] button at the ssh target host profile remains greyed until one has either entered a visible clear text (!) password or a private key from clipboard. Both is considered insecure. Ok, there is an option to create a new key pair locally, but then one needs to distribute the public key on all targets, which are dozens in my case. This is considered annoying. Especially when not all targets support public key. The terminal works well, supports ansi colors, but does not support text copy. There is a store for command snippets. But there is no option to send SSH-keep-alive packets, and hence the session gets stuck when traversing most firewalls. Dear developer, please consider implementing prompt for password and SSH-keep-alive.
