Totally worth the subscription!
Nice app, but on account with many posts and following/followers (about 5000) app crashing :( on other accounts work fine.
As a former Tweetbot user, Ivory made my transition to Mastodon really comfy. The developers behind it have experience building this kind of software and it really shows in the quality of the app. It’s definitely worth the subscription, and as an aside I’m enjoying my Mastodon experience.
The UI truly couldn't be better and the compatibility is so higher than the other clients.
My favorite Mastodon client by far, with fantastic support from the developers. I had a problem that turned out to be unique to my instance, and Paul took the time to investigate and suggest a (correct!) solution. Worth every penny.
Great app - beautiful, customizable, easy to use, and great dev group!
This app is not working either! Not finding the server.🙄
Ivory has a slick interface that clearly makes good use of caching. It’s sleek as well: it puts all the stuff the web site has in a more useable layout but with short animations that make it fun to use. So far, all the features of the web site appear to be present including Explore, which I’ve seen some other clients exclude.
Before Elon Musk ruined Twitter, in part by eliminating third-party apps, I was a big fan of Tweetbot. After the Twitter-pocalypse, I stayed away from social media for awhile (except for Reddit), until I found out that most of the tech folks I enjoyed following had moved over to Mastodon. There are a variety of apps for accessing the network including a native app, Mona, Ice Cubes, Mammoth and Radiant but the one I chose was Ivory for Mastodon by Tapbots, the same developers behind Tweetbot.
Ivory’s timeline is such a mess. It simply can no longer recall its position when being the app out of background. I ended my sub and am using another client.
