Ivory for Mastodon by Tapbots

I’ve been using Ivory for months now, after trying a few different clients (if not all of them). It may not be the one with most features implemented, but it’s surely the one with the cleanest and quickest interface. What is available works perfectly and the whole app experience is great.

Molto bella e funzionale, ma ho notato che al momento sono integrati solo i server Mastodon. Ci saranno implementazioni in futuro tipo Orwell.run?

App rilasciata in fretta per raggranellare qualche soldo sfruttando l’onda emotiva di Twitter, ma dovrebbe essere ancora in beta… sol loro sito parlano di “Early access” ma si fanno pagare come se l’app fosse completa.

Di sicuro graficamente è uno dei client più belli. Il problema è che essendo stato rilasciato in fretta e furia, rispetto agli altri client ha molte meno funzioni. Onestamente ora come ora non vale il prezzo a cui viene proposto visto che, tra l’altro, ci sono client gratuiti decisamente più avanzati Direi che per ora il giudizio è negativo

App stupenda. Come lo era Tweetbot. Il problema è Mastodon. Troppe regole e troppo pochi contenuti e persone da seguire. Auguri.

si nota decisamente tutta l’esperienza fatta con il client Twitter e applicata in questo. Per alcuni dettagli estetici, fluidità, UX la trovo di un livello ben superiore a quella ufficiale.

Ivory is a great app for Mastodon. It’s user friendly, remembers where you left off, and has quite a few customizable options if you are interested. I really enjoy using Mastodon with Ivory. It’s a social media app that gives you control over what you want to see without any corporate addiction algorithms.

Does most of what i want. It does seem a little reticent to update if i have not opened it for a while: hitting the home button will take me to the top of my feed, but then pulling down to refresh will show me many more posts. Then i can pull down to refresh a second or even a third time, and it will find hundreds more new posts each time. Can you make it so double tapping the home button does a complete refresh, and gets all the new posts, instead of just some of them?

It is rock solid, fast, and the devs are very responsive. I sent a suggestion via email and the app changed within a week. Maybe it was a coincidence, but I don’t believe it is. The developers are paying attention to their users — which is better than 90% of my experiences on the App Store.
