Best bang for the buck!
I’ve owned several pairs of Starkey hearing aids over the past 10 years. I hated having to pay for an office visit to have them adjusted or cleaned. These hearing aids we’re a third of the cost and came with a complete 3 year warranty. This is definitely the best way to go if you need hearing aids. Highly recommend them for good quality, service and value!
Disappointed
I really regret buying these. I have never been able to get them to fit my ear well but when I used them last in a large gathering they suddenly changed settings on their own and blew my ear drums because they became so loud. I have not been pleased with these almost from day one.

Good price and awesome customer service
Trial period
I’ve worn the hearing aids sent to me for 10 days. It took a while to figure out which domes work the best. They came with many options which was great. I’ve worn hearing aids for over 30 years so this is not my first rodeo. I knew they would need some sort of adjusting bc the online hearing evaluation was not as in-depth compared to going to an audiologist. That said, I’ trying to be patient with the process. I’ve requested help with the adjustments several times online to know avail. I’ve even tried calling only to be put on hold for an extremely long time and then left a message for a call back-still no reply. Aids are very expensive and insurance does not cover anything. When you spend 2K out of pocket you should expect quality and technical support as a follow up. Getting frustrated with the process and disappointed with the follow up care.
Not yet
Not thrilled yet but not had my adjustment. Sound is kind of tinny. Still not hearing as well as my old aids. Had a waitress right next to me and still had issues. Will reevaluate after my consultation.
Stability
The app does what it is designed to do. The only minor issue that I have is that periodically it stops and then I need to close it and reload. It’s minor but annoying, it is what it is.

Lack of customer service
I’ve had the hearing aids for about 3 months, 2 of which I spent trying to get Jabra to help me set up my app - it was somehow set up to a non existent email address and kept sending messages to that, which I, of course couldn’t receive. The customer service tel. never answered and never returned my phone messages. I was finally able to get someone to figure out the problem, but it did take 2 months.
I forwarded my audiogram to Jabra by email 3 times, and each time, Jabra told me it was too fuzzy to read, so to send it again. The 4th time, I was told to fax it to Jabra, which I just did 2 days ago. I haven’t heard anything about its quality yet, but I was forced to go to a UPS store and pay to do that.
Every time I change the app settings, they’re never saved, so I have to do it every day. Since there is no real customer service, I’ve been to resolve that, but I’m working on it.
I think the hearing aids per se are good, but I would never return to Jabra to get new ones, since the customer service is almost non existent, unless you want to buy some - there’s plenty of response for sales
Partial hearing
My right hearing aid is scratchy and low volume even after cleaning and adjusting the volume.
Good but wish you can save defaults
The app is pretty easy to use and doesn’t have any significant issues. I just wish I could save the specific ear sound adjustments for the everyday sound.
