Jaguar Charging

Another rip off. Use the, so called, no charge PAYG “standard variable rate” . It means you pay the rate shown at the charge point , Plus an additional charge of around 20p extra per kw. Shame on you jaguar!

Having collected new car and downloaded the Jaguar Charging App, set up account which took some time and then accessed the map it shows zero charging points in my area when I know there are plenty. Chat help completely clueless - come on Jaguar get it sorted!

Rubbish, keeps saying password failed when signing up for the app. I have entered the requisite 8 or more with letters, numbers & symbols. All gone green then still says invalid sort it out people. You build £100k cars and can’t get a simple app right! Doh!

A charge used to be £8.80, now it’s £65 or more (£0.92 per KWh). This makes my formerly economical electric i-pace more expensive to run than a diesel car. Therefore I will have to sell it and buy a diesel. Will I ever buy another Jaguar? Never. Disgraceful exploitation.

Just charged 75kw ionity direct would have been £51. I paid £8.80 with this! Worked with no issues.

Tried to sign up. Tells me I can’t because I don’t have the required mix of letters, numbers and symbols in my password, despite the fact that I do and all the criteria light up green. So I can’t use the app. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Not the apps fault but charging stations in Spain so few and far between, it’s laughable. The nearest charger to my house is 197km away and they want 59cents per kilowatt. There is only one EV maker that is serious about their cars and supporting them and that is Tesla.

It won’t even let me sign up or give me a reason so not much use to me

Amplifying the previous review, this is virtually useless in UK. It does not show ANY 50kW DC (CCS) chargers in UK - only a whole list of 22kW AC ones, which as we all know, are pretty useless for en route charging. ZapMap much better for UK, but as ZapMap is UK only, you need a different App for EU. As this one doesn’t show any 50kW chargers in France either, not much good, really.

Good app, however Plugsurfing locations are currently very limited in the UK so it’s not very useful unless travelling to the EU. Zap Map is better for finding UK chargers.
