Scam
This app is nothing short of a sham. It arbitrarily fails to play certain tracks from Qobuz or Tidal, while the very same tracks function flawlessly on their native applications. Though it may offer a slight improvement in sound quality, it’s hardly more notable than what free apps like Mconnect already provide. Avoid purchasing it—you’ll only be left disappointed. It’s a complete waste of both time and money.
This app developer reviews other people‘s IDs at will. Steal and hack

Disappointing, every time you use this app!
Such a HUGE disappointment. Lot of bugs. It is a worst copy of Tidal app with some dlna and upnp implementations. In a wrong way. And, this could be accepted, but not paying 50$ a years for such an app. By the way, BubbleUpnp, is 7$ for life and it is almost PERFECT in functionality that this app. So, think about it….
Finally, a top-notch HiFi streaming app
This app is just awesome. After trying almost a dozen other apps, this is the only one that does exactly what I wanted. I was able to seamlessly stream Qobuz to my KEF speakers with less than a minute of setup. The interface is clean and easy to navigate, and has some features that I love that seem basic but are surprisingly hard to find - like the ability to sort playlists by name and easily navigate through them (I have almost 1500, so good navigation is highly appreciated). Sound quality is far better than Airplay (and doesn’t bog down my network). Well worth the cost of the subscription.
Tiny flaws but not deal-breakers:
- Adjusting volume is a little cumbersome; it would be nice if that could be done using the buttons on the side of the phone.
- The ability to make fine adjustments to EQ would be take the app to the next level - though I’ll confess I don’t know whether this is technically possible over UPnP.
Good when it works
Sound is excellent but often the app gets stuck at the end of a song and has to be manually forwarded. It’s a pain. Also, occasionally it doesn’t play at all! Grr…
This is your DLNA/Upnp app, period.
I’ve tried them all, and this app *finally* what those of us who largely play local files need. The interface is clean, artwork is properly presented, and there is a “radio” feature that keeps tunes going after an album or playlist is done… and it is intelligent so it keeps the vibe similar. Do I like the subscription pricing? Not so much, but if they *keep* developing this, it will be worth it.
Have a question
I don’t get what the difference is between jplay signed into Qobuz vs just using Qobuz basically same thing just jplay doesn’t have a download button can someone explain to me what the difference is between the jplay app and Qobuz
Nice interface
Using instead of lightning ds with my auralic aries mini. Love that favorites from Qobuz and local network are displayed alphabetically and integrated. Can’t yet comment on sound quality differences, but sounds great!
No access to local iPhone music library
This app immediately detected my Marantz 40n receiver, which was promising as I was looking for an app that wasn’t the completely untested bugfest that HEOS for iOS is while providing the same functionality. However it appears this app is only compatible with Qobuz and Tidal, and doesn’t even provide access to the extensive high res music collection I have in Apple Music. What a let down.
Excellent audiophile control point
Integrated well with JPLAY FEMTO server. Even better sounding than BubbleUPnP which was my go-to control point. Music search is intuitive, comprehensive, and in real time. Continuously updated for improved functionality, language coverage, and performance. Minimized network traffic and maximum polling rate result in optimal sound quality.
