Perfect for me
I started rowing about 6 months ago and experimented with different apps but landed with Just Row. Austin’s style is perfect for me - a fun, open personality, great coaching and a wide range of motivating workouts. Because of Austin, I learned more about my rowing machine and the importance of tracking my numbers. I love this exercise so much that I also joined my local club for a summer rowing program (in an actual boat!).
I’m back!
These workouts have helped me find myself again. I used to row in high school and university and fell out of it as I started working and growing a family. I’m a 45 year old mom and I bought a Concept 2 a few months ago on a whim. Slowly got back into better shape and then k found your workouts! I love this app and all of the variety on it. Great price, great workouts, great coaching. Thank you! Would be awesome to see some longer workouts in here too. 40min+ Like a head race!
Best money I ever spent on an app
I’ve tried a few workout apps and I just didn’t have the motivation to keep with it. Austin has put together something really special here. He got me out of my post pandemic exercise funk, and has motivated me to get back in shape! Most importantly- Austin is a talented coach. He keeps you motivated, laughing, and want ing to come back for more. You can tell he has put his heart and soul into this app.
The tight shorts don’t hurt
Austin coaches every stroke and just shines authentic positivity. A true “coach” Makes you work hard but is with you every stroke of the way. I’ve rowed on and off since highschool but as a middle -aged mom with limited time, 20-30mins on one of these workouts is stimulating to my brain re: ever improving rowing form and body with a decent sweat. Non-rowing workouts are simple and effective. And he’s easy on the eyes…if I’m being honest. If you aren’t wild about fitness, sometimes that’s the motivator at the end of the day!
Amazing Instruction
Austin provides top quality fitness instruction with amazing workouts. He’s got everything on this app from body weight workouts to rowing workouts to stretching routines! I wish I could give him 100 stars!
Excellent app
I found one of Austin’s eight week challenge rowing workouts on YouTube. I had never rowed before using this app. Austin’s expertise gave me the confidence, skills and technique to commit to rowing for the year. I’m 6 weeks into the challenge and have noticed improvements in my body and rowing performance. This app is well worth the money, I’d highly recommend it!
Fun and motivating
Truly enjoying Just Row. I worked through many of the YouTube workouts that are posted. I got to a level where I wanted more challenging workouts, so I subscribed to Just Row. I’m glad I subscribed because there are many, many workouts on Just Row ranging from mellow to challenging. The workouts on Just Row are arranged in sets of workouts; workouts are arranged in series of workouts that cover multiple weeks. I like working out to a program. I like knowing that I have longer term row goals organized this way. I like Austin’s constant talking, it helps keep me going.

I like it. I was using the free you tube videos but I like to playlists with organized progressive workouts. So far so good.
N00b review
I purchased my first water rower and started by watching Austin’s YouTube channel for two weeks. I realized that I’m comparison to other training videos and apps that the Training Tall program was what I most looked forward to each day. The focus on proper form, technique and generating power without flailing around at 30spm was a great way to improve, get fit, without putting myself at risk for an injury. I’m a snowboarder, mountain biker, and moto rider and I’ll save my injuries for those sports lol. I’m 45 years old and feeling the struggle to balance work, self-care and family, sp keeping my exercise routine fun and efficient is my priority. I switched over to the app this week and I continue to be impressed with the quality of the video, the coaching and engagement and the focused fitness. I love it! Looking forward to kicking off pow season in the best shape of my life. Thank you!

No wonder I wasn’t enjoying rowing before - I was doing it completely wrong! I’m amazed at how quickly I learned the techniques and made improvements. It’s a whole new experience now! I enjoy Austin, find him to be funny, and really enjoy the workouts. Of course I started with the Intro series to learn technique, and now I look forward to getting on the rower (in the morning, no less!) and closing my exercise ring before 8am. Thanks so much Austin!!
