Kangaroo: Simple Home Security

Is there any way to slow down the motion movement because everything’s moving so fast I don’t see a button to slow it down and some of the video you only see bits and pieces of like vehicles moving with people moving it’s not showing it move from one sides to the other

After 2 years of having the doorbell. The camera will not turn on after changing to new batteries.

Simple easy to use.

Worst cameras on the market, devices will not pair . Completely a waste of time and money. If you plan on free storage or any service, you won’t find it at kangaroo.

I love kangaroo, but the live video never works when I try to view it. My biggest pet peeve about kangaroo. Other than that, it’s perfect. Everything is up to date, app, and the doorbell firmware.

The cam looks good, but being pretty is misleading. Setup requires your legal name, birthdate, address, & phone number. Then you are prompted to subscribe to a $99 annual cloud fee if you want all the features… or even the basic one like using the cam for more than 12 seconds every 5 minutes. Yes that’s right! choose “BASIC PLAN,” then you may ACCESS the cam & it records for 12 secs, & shuts down for a 5 minute cool-down period. Great! What????? Returning this pronto, deleted my account, then deleted the screwy kangaroo app.

It was a fine app. I wish it worked with HomeKit. The most annoying part, however, is the relatively recent addition of ads at the bottom of the app. It’s just extra spam to ignore.

The app is ok, minus the fact that about 80% of the time it loads adds first, then my security footage. That doesn’t make sense for the user, given’s that this isn’t a free service like Facebook. I paid for this things and still have to wait as it loads adds before what I paid for. I’ll make the switch to ring when I’m ready, and this thing is going in the trash bin.

The app itself is amazing and well designed. There's absolutely no human for customer service, just a bot that gives you articles. The products break in 6 weeks.
