Choose to self-monitor your stuff at no cost, or add one of our protect plans for added benefits like Professional Monitoring, theft and damage reimbursement, extended Cloud Storage, Text & Voice Notifications, and more. While Kangaroo devices keep you protected, the Cam Protect and Complete Protect plans will pay you back when incidents of theft or damage occur. Yep, we don’t just have your back. We pay you back.
If you choose Cam or Complete Protect, payments will be charged directly to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period. The account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the Account Settings after purchase.

Useless.
Useless security system. Contrary to what the manual claims, it’s not possible to change the time of motion being detected and siren being activated. Takes about 1:30 minutes until that happens - plenty of time for anyone to simply unplug or destroy the siren, which keeps blaring - enter pin code to disarm. How come such a basic, essential feature like this isn’t available?! This isn’t rocket science, upon contacting support I was told engineers were working around the clock to add that feature... which makes me laugh I guess? Oh , by the way, yes your phone will tell you notion was detected, then maybe you would think you could activate the siren remotely? No no.

Would love to see a “log” or event history for motion detection
To fast
Is there any way to slow down the motion movement because everything’s moving so fast I don’t see a button to slow it down and some of the video you only see bits and pieces of like vehicles moving with people moving it’s not showing it move from one sides to the other
Stopped working
After 2 years of having the doorbell. The camera will not turn on after changing to new batteries.

Worst cameras on the market, devices will not pair . Completely a waste of time and money. If you plan on free storage or any service, you won’t find it at kangaroo.
Live video never works
I love kangaroo, but the live video never works when I try to view it. My biggest pet peeve about kangaroo. Other than that, it’s perfect. Everything is up to date, app, and the doorbell firmware.

Nonfunctional
The cam looks good, but being pretty is misleading.
Setup requires your legal name, birthdate, address, & phone number. Then you are prompted to subscribe to a $99 annual cloud fee if you want all the features… or even the basic one like using the cam for more than 12 seconds every 5 minutes.
Yes that’s right! choose “BASIC PLAN,” then you may ACCESS the cam & it records for 12 secs, & shuts down for a 5 minute cool-down period. Great! What?????
Returning this pronto, deleted my account, then deleted the screwy kangaroo app.
Ads! Why?
It was a fine app. I wish it worked with HomeKit.
The most annoying part, however, is the relatively recent addition of ads at the bottom of the app. It’s just extra spam to ignore.
