KanjiBox is an offline Japanese studying application. It provides an efficient yet fun way to practice all aspects of Japanese (kana, kanji, vocab, reading, writing...) through drills, quizzes and flash cards, while providing engaging feedback through progress charts, scores and game-like "achievements" for each Japanese level.
KanjiDraw and KanaDraw add-ons harvest the full power of your device's touchscreen to guide you through proper Japanese handwriting, while detailed animated cards tell you everything you need to know on each kanji.
KanjiBox is particularly well suited for standardized test preparation (JLPT, Kanji Kentei, Ninja Academy etc.) but works great as a personal study tool too.

Solid app! Recommend
Great! Fantastic Kanji and amazing question/tests!!! Recommend!!!
Only thing I get frustrated with is I select N2 and still tests me on kanji like 六 or basic level kanji...I wish I didn’t have to skip through those super easy questions sometimes...I selected N2! Now gimme N2 Kanji!!!
But good solid app!
Nice
Nice
For the serious Kanji learner.
This is just the kanji app I have been searching for. It tests you on reading, recognising and meaning, uses a good SRS and has the excellent handwriting quiz addon that works just as you'd expect it to.
I've downloaded (bought) a few kanji apps over the years but they've all been quickly deleted. Not so this one!
Highly recommended.
Worth every cent
Love it, bought this to replace Memrise and have never looked back. You really get what you pay for. Only complaints are that katakana and hiragana are grouped together (sometimes I use this app to tutor a friend with learning difficulties) and have had my progress erased once or twice. Don't forget to set auto-sync with the web app to save your data. Those are minimal issues though, otherwise it's great.
Fast, Simple, Usable
I really like using this app, it's pretty simple and how speeds my kanji learning more than the other srs apps.
I do wish it had Audio like JSensei (which I think is although worth using in tandem with KanjiBox because of its exposure to sentences and listening) but KanjiBox is great for blitzing through some drills and refreshing myself on my Kanji and Vocab.
Fantastic
I love this app. There's nothing I don't love about it. Usually I write reviews to complain but not this time. It has helped me cement a lot of kanji into my memory and I love the way it communicates with imi wa.
I find not having to write can make it very hard to recall kanji - I always just type them and the computer helps me - but kanji draw helps.
Maybe if I could make fonts even smaller that would be good!
Best exposure methods
I love this app, best choice I made. Drastically increases Kanji, Tango and On/Kun-Yomi in the fastest time. Doesn't step over your mistakes - makes sure you've actually learned it before you proceed.
Best studying tool to learn Japanese
I have been wanting to start to study Japanese for a long time, but this app made it easy, fun and enjoyable. I highly recommend this app for anyone planning on coming to japan, or who is studying Japanese. It caters from simple to very advanced levels.
30 second study tool
I now find that any time I have a few spare minutes I tap into KB and run through a few Kanji. There is also so much more that I have looked at but haven't yet incorporated into my instant thinking. I'm looking forward to gradually using more features regularly.
Awesomely great!
Awesome way to study kanji. Interface could be a bit better and I wish there were more study options for kanji, but I love it still.
