It is great I just got it and I love it
This bracelet + app combo made me realize how little I’m actually conscious of where my hands are in space. The bracelet vibrates so often while I’m at work which is a good thing bc that’s when I’m picking the most! Helps me know when it’s time to put my hands down and take a break
Keen2 is a gentle reminder all day long! My husband no longer nags me about biting my nails. Instead, this life changing app, does it all! I am so thankful to have found this!
For years I tried everything to stop pulling. This AMAZING app and bracelet is what helped my behavior change stick. The app is easy to use and the bracelet vibrates everytime! The company also helps with set up for free and is super helpful. They mean it when they say we are part of the keen family. Highly recommend and don’t give up!
The app is well designed and connects to my bracelet. Overall it’s helping me with my hair pulling a ton!
Super helpful and the improvements are noticeable
I purchased Keen2 over a year ago with very high hopes and excitement for such a unique and innovative solution. Unfortunately, the app has hardly worked to track data for the entire time I’ve owned a Keen2 and there have also been recurring issues with the band. This app needs to be replaced with a new app that actually works. Resetting and troubleshooting, to no avail, is frustrating. If you purchase a keen band, do so with the understanding that you might not be able to use the app as advertised.
I’ve had this app for a long time now, there have been a few updates to the app recently which have made it much more reliable. Big fan!
The app has a lot of great potential… but there’s several technical errors that make it difficult to fully enjoy the product and what it’s intended for. For instance, the graph that is supposed to keep track of your picking, does not work/sync up. And the watches inconsistently sync with it. I hope this company can invest a bit more in better software/app development. As this can be a make or break for someone’s healing journey. AND that goes to say to that this product, company and app is NOT responsible for the progress of the person. As we are all responsible for that. But what they are responsible for is making the product a more accessible tool to assist the person on their journey of evolution. This is also goes to say, I do still think this a great product, great company with authentic values that I still support. Just sharing where there could be a bridge of fulfillment for great customer satisfaction and retention rate.
This company sold me a defective bracelet (their words, as an explanation after a ton of troubleshooting and going to a video training session and it still didn’t work properly), then replaced it and determined that this bracelet was also defective (again, their words). They sent me a third bracelet and it was black instead of lavender, which was not what I had ordered and which no one mentioned when they sent it. I used this app and went through the process repeatedly to set up the Keen2, but it never seemed to react the way it was advertised and it would vibrate at random while I was driving, walking, or just doing everyday things, despite having used this app to set it up and despite having participated in the live video training session. After purchasing this bracelet, I finished my first semester back at school in over 10 years and my hair pulling was bad. I could not rely on the Keen2 bracelet for support and did not use it at all after two bracelets were defective and the last was not the one I ordered. I didn’t want to try the third because I knew I wouldn’t wear a black one and hoped to return them all for a refund. I figured I would return it unused so they wouldn’t have to repackage it. Toward the end of the semester, I injured my back, then I had to leave the country for a short time and suffered from Covid immediately after that. I sent an email to their customer care team when I had recovered from all of this and asked them if they could help me out and they said no, that the return window had closed. They suggested I sell them online, even though they knew they were defective. I explained that I’d been through a lot recently and that I was asking for an exception, but they said no, they would not refund me and that they “can’t” accept a return because they can’t get a shipping label. I offered to buy one and ship them myself, but they refused this as well. So now I’m stuck with these things I’ll never use because they don’t work, and they’ve taken my money. Do yourself a favor and work with your therapist if you suffer from any of the ailments these bracelets claim to help with. You can build awareness without something vibrating on your wrist, especially considering it vibrates constantly, no matter what you’re doing, even when you’ve used this app and have a thorough understanding of how to program the bracelet for your specific needs. I am incredibly disappointed with this app/bracelet and with HabitAware.
