KENWOOD Remote is an application that connects and controls compatible KENWOOD car receivers via Bluetooth® like a wireless remote control.
This application can also display KENWOOD car receiver’s source information on the smartphone’s screen,
and enables the user to make an audio setting using application's easy to use graphic user interface.
Application can also work as a free standalone music player application, when the unit is not connected to the headunit.
INNOVATIVE GESTURE CONTROL
You can command basic controls such as pause, skip or repeat simply by finger gesture operations on the screen of the smartphone.
Also, you can make a search for a specific song, album or an artist from your playlist.
RECEIVER SETTING USING SMARTPHONE GUI
Audio settings, such as Time Alignment and EQ setting can be easily be set using the KENWOOD Remote application's easy to use graphic user interface.

Does Not Connect
As others have all said on previous reviews, this app simply does not connect. Should be removed from the App Store.
Waste of time
Does not connect, should not be downloaded. Needs to be fixed. David
Only comes with remote App- doesn’t work - KDC-BT720DAB
Does not work at all, bought this stereo so I could use a remote App and now I can’t even control it with a remote.(Didn’t come with a remote only App control) What a waste of money. Very disappointed.
Doesn’t work properly with ios13
It would be nice to have an update to this app so I can connect it with my ddx4017BT head unit as I have an iPhone 11 and cannot transfer my Phone contacts or control my audio system

How does such a large company like kenwood release an app that is absolutely the worst app I’ve ever tried to use... Never connects, none of the settings or preferences do what they are meant to do... Apple really need to allow the ability to give 0 stars because this app definitely shows a real need for it
Love it...when it connects!!!
This app is awesome when it does what it is supposed to, but I have a lot of trouble connecting it. I try everything it says to but still doesn’t connect every time. I really hope the next update can fix this problem!!

Crashes a lot. Needs an update
Crashes all the time. 7 months is along time for no bug fixes
