I had a project to bring a parlour grand piano that was very out of tune (consistently at least two semitones flat) back to concert pitch. It took several iterations to get there, but it is now at concert pitch and sounds fantastic. Many thanks to this app.

I downloaded this and was impressed with how well it picked up the notes on my replica historic instrument. Many other apps fail to do this anywhere near as well. The only thing letting it down is the lack of different temperaments available. Playing baroque and classical music I use a modified mean tone and to use this app I need to calculate the deviation from equal temperament and tune each note sharp or flat by the required amount.

I’ve been a musician for many years, this the best tuner I have had the pleasure to use. It’s very useful for intonation check on guitar, and wonderful for harmonic tuning. There is no doubt you can trust this tuner to tune a piano. Just like to say, a Big ThankYou to the developer of this free application KeyTuner! In my personal opinion, the best tuner on the App Store.

Ten years of using different tuning apps - this beats them all. A very accurate tuner. The drone function is perfect for singing. Wish I’d found it sooner. Get it.

Many ways to use this, I use it to tune my Kalimbas. It’s the best free one I’ve found. I love that you can use the frequency to get it exactly right, or the standard graphics with letters and a needle.

A truly great app. Simple to use and covers different instruments.
