Kickstarter is not available for South Africa or anywhere in Africa
I would love to use Kickstarter and the app and have made numerous inquiries. Apparently, people in Africa don't have dreams and projects, and our entire continent has been sidelined. We can read, you know.? I'm very disappointed that they are not believers in diversity. Otherwise, Africa would be sure in! They do take your money for pledges, though, but….they don't deliver to South Africa and the rest of Africa.🧐I'm very disappointed in Kickstarter as an organization.

Great idea BUT…..
I think Kickstarter is such a great idea but I have just had too many hassles with projects.
I’ve backed 5 projects and only 1 was hassle free. 2 were extremely delayed and 2 have delivered 0 products at all.
These odds of failure are far too high
I won’t be backing any further projects on Kickstarter
Zero Support For Failed Campaigns
I have backed many campaigns and will not be backing another one.
It appears to be acceptable for campaigns to just not deliver the products at all or to change their pricing and hold you at ransom for more cash before delivering (after having already taken the money you pledged at the agreed price).
When you report this to Kickstarter they either ignore you or tell you it’s not their problem as they don’t guarantee the campaigns.
In other words, they take their cut and the rest is your problem. Shameful.
No feedback
2 Out of 3 have gone wrong.
But the worst is that there is just no feedback.

I like the user interface together with the ease of use, especially when navigating between tabs and pages. It can be made a bit faster but all in all a great application

Unfair
I find it unfair that being able to start projects is limited to certain countries. I am from South Africa. I had a brilliant idea for the film and video section, just a pity that I cannot move forward with my idea.

Great in the sense of idea and design of the application but lacks the support for South Africans and other areas to start projects(Main reason I got kickstarter)
