I downloaded the app and paid for a pack of Welsh baby names so have been swiping on Welsh and English (England) names. My partner also downloaded the app but his version is only giving him English (US) names and if he wants English (England) or Welsh names he’s going to have to pay for those packs separately… easy money for the developers I guess but it turns out we’ve been swiping on two different sets of names 🙄
Potentially if I was in America this app would be great, but even choosing English British I was getting names like Daylily and Kennedy - not names that would ever be used in my country
Not great as can’t link to my partners account so going to delete it
Not sure if the app is being monitored anymore, as there is no support button in the app and when you go to add a partner it says they have been added without you submitting any information.
Keeps showing me ones I’ve already seen surely it can’t be that hard to suppress the ones that have already been shown?
A good idea and there were a few names we actually liked on the app, but you have to trawl through lots of really American names that no one in the UK is called (even though we had it set to English England). Also there were just some plain old weird names in there that are unrealistic to include in a baby naming app. Here are some examples of names we were given: Bunko Vance Odin Navy Sincere Chad Gin Paxton Seven Cash Isis Porter Waldo Londyn Willie Mae Talon
