Kinder is a super simple name choosing app. Through Kinder you can quickly swipe name suggestions you like to the right and dismiss the ones you don’t like.

You get one name set for free based on your location and if you want you can easily buy additional name sets for a small fee.

You can connect to your partner to find matches. Purchased name sets will also be available for your partner.

Kinder has over 18.000 names in the library with a grand variety in origins so you can find that unique name that your child will write history with!

although I haven't choose a name it's so helpful

Buggy

Really frustrating bug for me where my filter (girls names) doesn’t persist so I keep getting boy’s name

Great idea, but the names are not English

My wife signed up for this and sent me the link to join. The app itself is a simple and fun idea but even after setting our preference as ‘English (England)’ I’d say 90% of these names are not British and mainly American. I got so bored after 5/10 minutes of constantly swiping left and seeing names that no one is called here. Deleted the app shortly after

Dodgy welsh

Love that there’s welsh names on there (some really nice ones!) but most of them aren’t even names. Like Olwyn “wheel” and Llygad “eye”. These are literally just words and is the exact equivalent of saying “here’s my daughter, Wheel, and son, Eye”

Not good for the UK

I paid for the UK English names but they are SO American. Hardly any British names and so many very modern American ones, not really any use for me!

Strange names

Some very odd choices and my partner gets name suggestions I don’t get!

Welsh names?

I think there’s about 10 actual Welsh names, and then made up names!! Disappointed.

Very annoying

Very limited selection Shows you same names over and over again. Paid for more names only some of which appeared. Doesn’t save names you only like.
