Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance TD

I really like the sequel and have been waiting for it. Levels are awesome and the double hero im really enjoying. My only comment is about some towers; the necromancer tower doesn’t have any abilities to increase or give power to its squishy skeletons and the skeleton rider upgrade is basically a damage spell more than a summon, and the imp tower that spits imps with towels doesn’t look very cool, and although funny, i don't think follows the theme as much. I also miss the first kingdom rush where the towers could update to two different versions as well. Overall i would recommend this to anyone that likes tower defense or kingdom rush.

Loved all the other games but this on specifically feels like a mix of old things. Found myself feeling like I was playing one of the old games as half the maps had identical layouts and the towers are very similar a bit of a shame. If you haven’t played the old ones this will be amazing though

Upon completing the tutorial the game crashed. Every further load of the same save crashes immediately. I love all the games and have just finished vengeance, I just want to be able to play this new instalment!! * The support team were excellent, got back to me within an hour with a solution to my issue. The levels in and I love it already!!(Updated)

Great game and really nice to pay money up front and not be bombarded with ads

Feels an overall reskin of previous games than a completely new game. No attempt to create something completely different, more of a Vengeance Part 2. Towers you can only level up, no strategic choices to upgrade to different powers. You can have the same set to complete all levels unlike previous games (I have all). Levels end abruptly - anticlimactic. Waves of enemies become bland and uninteresting. At least have two different endless levels for longevity. Minuscule rewards for calling in waves early. Overall KR5 Alliance: 8/10 animation, 1/10 gameplay. Disappointed.

Already 5th part of the series, one could think there is literally nothing new that could be done. Still Ironhide manage to make an amazing game full of surprises and new engaging mechanics. There are tower defence games and there’s Kingdom Rush, a genre of it’s own.

This is the only game I pay for. Well deserved

I love you games , since the OG Kingdom rush , but tbh I expected more , feel like there was less effort put into it the in KR Vengeance, witch was a marble , more stages , hero’s felt more unique etc, when aliance just feels like lazy writing. And I was really hoping you guys will bring back the 2 build paths for towers.

So you have to pay to play for the game and pay more to unlock all of game content? Yeah no. Might as well buy full AAA game on console/steam rather than spending almost £50 to unlock all content.
