I just noticed they got rid of my old reliable app for this new one at first I was excited oh maybe the format is better . NOPE it won’t pair with either of my thermometers and I got two! I finally got it to pair with one for it to not sync the temperature at all which is whole point of the app!!!! I tried to click the customer service button and the app crashes like WHAAAT then I try again and the app just dumps again !!!! They need to fix it I liked the old app better .

App works, but barely. Thermometer does not work. Consistently states that my temperature is 93 and my kids’ are 96. We’ve cleaned with alcohol and done a hard reset. We likely have missed fevers, so we’ve stopped using it. The app’s “forecast” hasn’t changed in months and if you click to follow the data, the link is broken. The link is also broken to get to several spots on their website. I click “contact customer service” and the app just restarts. There is no customer service email I can find on their website. We’ve switched to a non oral thermometer for our older children.

Our toddler had a high fever. We were using the stick thermometers under his armpits and it was a challenge just to get a temp. He hit 102 and i knew we needed a better way to monitor his temp. A quick trip to CVS later and I settled on the QuickTemp unit. I figured what the heck and gave it a shot. Wow. This little thermometer is backed by a great app. Allows you to keep track of temps with history, different profiles for all members of the family. Allows for a repeat reminder just in case you need to keep schedule for giving medicine and what not. Gives you recommendations and remedies and advice for your certain situation. For example, if your child or person is experiencing certain symptoms but no fever, still speak with a doctor. If your child is experiencing high fever, but no symptoms, stay home, give them fluids, a cool towel or maybe a bath, etc. Which we thought was awesome. Really neat, easy to use but also feature packed app. From a Parent in Need. This is awesome just amazing.

The thermometer won’t work unless your phone is by you and you are connected to the app. Your better off purchasing a normal thermometer and just using a notepad. It struggles to connect which means you can’t take the temp. The thermometer is just an excuse for a medical technology company to download their app.

This app is easy to use and does not require an account on Kinsa’s servers, so your data stays on your phone where it belongs.

This is the best investment! I love how I can have the temperature read back to me in seconds. The downside is that I’m not sure if my baby moves too much but after 2-3 min I recheck the temperature because, I feel my baby warm in contrast to the 98.1 reading and I try again second reading is 99.1. Big difference from no fever to a mild fever. Not sure if it’s my baby moves a lot and is annoyed by medication and temperature check ups or what.

I’m a mom of 4 kids ranging in age from 14yrs to 14 months so I’ve tried quite a few thermometers over the years and this one is by far the best I’ve tried! Once you download the app to your phone you can add the members of your family or anyone you would use it on. Then when you take a temp you open the app up and select who it was for. Now when you have more than one kid, chances are you will have them all sick at some point in time and this makes it super easy to keep track of each kid, their temperature and it even allows you the option to add if you’ve gave them medication or not what time and how much and what it is. My favorite part though is the at home things to try for different symptoms going on. I love things that recognize that sometimes the best thing is rest and a few things at home before you rush to the doctor. I will definitely recommend this to any and every friend of mine for years to come
