KODAK STEP Prints

Very disappointed in the lack of graduation and Father’s Day frames. I’ve been using the printer to make tags and cards. So many great Mother's Day frames, yet not one for Father’s Day or graduation? I reached out to customer support last week and was told they would have the Father’s Day frames soon, however Father’s Day is here and no frames. Regretting my purchase.

I’m leaving a one star because that’s what I fee people facing a similar problem will go to check. If you cannot connect your device but you know the Bluetooth's working try this. 1. Go to settings>bluetooth 2. Scroll until you see the printers name (if you can’t see it keep trying to connect in the app) 3. Click on the printer name. My iPhone said something like this device is no longer pair able remove device. So remove it 4. Go back to the app and try to connect again This is what got my printer to pair hope it helps

When I ran the app and connected it to my printer it would act normal but then keep on printing blank photos. I reset the printer and everything I have the feeling it is a problem with the app.

I use this printer to print a lot of random things. I like to pack the 2x3 photo with about 30 pictures. Before when I first got the device full scale photos that take up the whole picture would print at a slightly lower quality. That was fine but what was cool was that when I packed these pictures onto the screen the resolution was much better and there was a surprising amount of detail in these fingernail sized photos. Now after some time it wanted to update its firmware and now that quality and sharpness boost is gone and everything I print has terrible(standard) resolution. Please do not nerf your products I just wanted to print little pictures 😭😭

The app needs a search function. Unless your printing from the last month or so, finding a date range in 30,000 on phone photos is too hard. The Google Photo connectivity is great but falls well short because it doesn’t sync all albums in the library. There’s really no reason for the library folders it does sync. Support is weak at best. Emails sent from the app are NOT answered. If the printer goes to sleep while your searching for photos I’ve had to reboot my phone to get it to connect toe ZINK Step Printer again.

I got this for chrismas and it barley worked and printed I only got 3 prints out of it before it broke

I bought the printer to use at a birthday party, but you can’t do simple things like take a landscape photo or - the most important one - use the volume button as the shutter button.

All of these 5 star reviews are frankly suspicious. I literally can’t print more than 2 photos in a row without having to close out of the app or restart the device, sometimes I can’t even print twice before it runs into an issue that requires a restart Additionally, it used to allow the ability for collages to be printed in landscape mode and now it just doesn’t? Impossible to make a collage in the app without all of the dimensions completed messed up.

This shows the phone version of the app on iPad. Please considering optimizing the app for iPad displays.

Unless you just want a few photos, don’t buy anything Kodak especially the step because the app is HORRIBLE which makes the equipment USELESS!!’ I have gone through 4 step printers because of “defective” or “software” issues but they all have the same issue when it comes to updating and performing the same tasks every day. I was able to run about 20 photos through this printer before it broke(well the app broke which makes the printer useless, you cannot use the printer without the app) And support only says restart it and I’ve done it so many times then they say oh we’ll send you a new one…are you kidding me it’s the 4th time and still horrible
