Download the Premis app for use with the Premis Touchscreen Smart Lock, made by Kwikset.
This app will guide you through the installation, set up, and overall customization of your Premis Smart Lock. This lock and app will work with the Apple HomeKit platform so you can use your iPhone, iPad, or iTouch to control and manage your lock!
• Siri® Voice Control – Lock and unlock your door using Siri voice commands. For example, “Siri unlock my front door.”
• Remote Access – Control and monitor lock status from anywhere using the Premis app and Apple TV®.
• Lock Monitoring – View lock activity, history, and status notifications when lock is used via the Premis App
• User Code Management – Easily send, add, delete, or disable user codes. Schedule access for certain times/days.

Is this supposed to work

Really ugly gray screen of death. What this tells me is kwikset’s passion for innovation is dead. Or the company is dead.

Lock not available

Why? All the time it seems like. When I want to do something with it this is the message I receive. Why? The fix. Delete and redownload. Such a pain. It should not be this difficult or annoying. When it works, it’s great. Which that is not much of the time. Kwikset needs to unscrew this or apple does or both together. It’s dumb.

This app doesn’t work

The app cannot even discover its own locks. A pointless app. Seems no updates have been made to it in years.

Stopped working randomly??

This app was perfectly fine until a couple weeks ago. Now, all of a sudden, it can’t find my lock and I have no idea how much battery life is left. I tried deleting and reinstalling the lock as a new one but nothing happened. Thankfully the lock didn’t actually delete and I can still use my normal passcode. Will y’all please update this app?? 4 years without an update, seriously?!

Would not buy lock again

App is slow and usually cannot find lock. Don’t buy if you want a app driven lock

Stopped working

Have had this about 6 months. Now it gets jammed and won’t lock or unlock. Go with a different lock. Kevin set has really gone to garbage products!!

Zero stars

WOW! This app is completely worthless. I’ve downloaded is 3 times and all I get is a grey screen. No prompts, no instructions, nothing. I tap app support in the App Store and the page cannot be found. You guys have got to be kidding me. This lock came with my home and does not work at all with android so I get an iPad and it apparently doesn’t work with apple either. What a complete piece of garbage. This lock is going in the trash. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!

Garbage

This is the most infuriating and unhelpful experience I’ve ever had with an app. I can’t get my lock installed because these directions only give me three options and none of them apply plus there are no answers online. Do not buy this lock or bother with this app.

No part of this lock or app works your best off removing batteries and using as a dumb lock
