KyBook 2 Ebook Reader

Unable to delete books from the App. I hv upgraded to the Pro-version with the promise that all features will be available. This doesn’t seem to be the case as the App won’t delete unwated books which is a huge frustration. I will delete the book and when going to my books, the deleted book is still there. My phone is updated. Please correct this issue then I will rate the App again. Thank you Still no change. Sitting with a bunch of epub books I am unable to delete. Will delete this app now. Was a waste of my money

Great until my a lot of my books books disappeared and Ads appeared dispite repeatedly pressing restore purchases nothing happens

I have my book downloaded and i wanted to hear them rather than read and this is so far the best app ive come across i can listen to as many books as i want

The reading app is a continuation of the lifecycle of the original KyBook. It’s reasonably fast and well rounded. Some nice touches like playing the sound of a turning page and being able to tag your books collection. It’s good, for organising a large number of books without feeling overwhelmed, and good for providing you an immersive experience. But it has its fair share of bugs. It doesn’t crash or segfault, but it does occasionally misrender pages. Some artefacts here and there, means that sometimes you feel brutally yanked out of the page. Which is a shame.

This was a great app, but the latest update has ratcheted up the advertising and now it is almost useless, with distracting animations in the reading view and the bottom strip of the page completely obscured.

I spent a lot of time looking for a reading app. This has all the functionality and flexibility I need. I can access all my books from the cloud (Dropbox and google drive ). I can copy books saved on my computer. Lots of customisation and the TTS is far superior to the option for iBooks, which I found very buggy. Plus it is small in size which is important when you don’t have a lot of storage space. No ads when reading and free.

The original KyBook has support of opds servers requiring user/pass authentication. The newer kybook2 doesn’t. Seems an odd omission, but very common for all ereader apps. For those of us without own library we don’t want to open it up to the world. Please add back in opds authentication, especially now the original kybook is no longer support or reliable under iOS 11! Other than that it’s a great reader, the best, I just can’t access my library :(
