At laya healthcare we are constantly trying to make things a little easier for our members and our recent app update allows you to manage your health insurance and healthcare needs all in the one place.
Simply take or upload a picture of your day to day medical expense receipts and submit them directly to our Claims Department for assessment through the Laya App.
We have also amalgamated our CareOnCall app so that members can contact Digital GP services including face to face video consultations with a GP, an online prescription service and access to home testing kits. Because this is an app you will want to keep using, we’ve enabled Touch & Face ID for speedy and secure login.

Really buggy since latest update
App has become almost non responsive lately, tapping “make claim” does nothing, have to shut down app repeatedly until it eventually works. Can’t even log in today.
App frozen
Why is my screen frozen after app update? Had no issue before to select cover or submit claim?!! I deleted the app reloaded and still the same 🤯
Unclear and buggy
When it’s time to renew your coverage, the app doesn’t actually tell you how much you owe; it lets you enter any amount you’d like, regardless of whether it’s 10% or 1000% of what you’re supposed to pay. Also, this app continuously adjusts the volume on my phone when I’m using it for some reason. It won’t allow you to have volume off; it must be at least 1. Weird bug that should be fixed.
Hopeless. Switch to VHI.
Cannot access digital GP services because it says I’m already registered and need to contact support. Completely fails at the moment you actually need something. Absolutely useless app. VHI much better.
Awful
Truly awful app. Little to no functionality, simply reverts to website.
Version update
It keeps informing me to update my version but when I do it says it’s up to date. Yet I have to use my pc to log in and do gp visits as it never works on my cell
Below par app
The app is basically an overcomplicated gateway to the website, as any request is directed to the website, where you spend 5 minutes going through cookie options. Not very user friendly or intuitive.
Surprisingly bad app for 2023
Login required upon every new session. And then it just directs you to the website anyway for everything
Such a handy app
We find this app so useful. Very easy to scan in receipts and payments are processed quickly
