Could make some improvements

Mostly good. Learn a lot in a simple way. However, when writing some of the hiragana it tells me it’s wrong even when I write it correctly. The only approve when I intentionally write it wrong. Really annoying.

No longer works

This was my preferred app to get my child to learn kana. My child has an old ipad air II. This app used to work just fine, but no longer wants to open. Pretty annoying to pay money for a simple app that doesnt work despite AppStore claiming it is compatible with the device

Very good but I wrote the wrong part of the character first and got it wrong lolz

Excellent learning

To me, this form of learning works very well. I’m learning both how to read and write through this app, and even the order of each stroke, which easily is getting wrong when jyst writing a character when seen.

Nice app

Lots of content for a fair price. Easy to use. Covers alot of ground.

More, I need more

What I'm missing here is better tests. A multiple choice test is not good enough. Suggest a perpetual test where it gradualy switches and gives more and more choices (start at 4, then 8, then 16, then no choice). When multiple choice is dropped one has to enter the answer into a blank field. As most (all?) smartphones/tablets can show a Japanese keyboard I suggest it swaps between English and Japanese keyboards as well.

It's good but not free

I had a nice time using this app to learn how to write in Japanese. It's very useful. I'm just upset it didn't let me go passed lesson 2 of the first lesson unless I paid. I don't recommend this app unless you just want to learn a few characters and nothing else.

Question answer choices overlapping

The questions answer choices are overlapping with the “show hint” button. This prevents any progress in lessons. The developer has not updated the app in a long time and refuses to answer any reports.

Listen I’m not hating on this app but you have to pay for it which is greedy learning Hiragana and Katakana should be free so read my review and let me tell you DONT PAY FOR KANA (hiragana and katakana) when learning this is a great app don’t ge5 me wrong but I have a better resource Tofugu.com it lets you learn both Hiragana and Katakana for free and let you print out a free book which you can write in,get quizzed on past kana, and learn everything there is too know about kana, let me say you wanna try this not this app or any other apps, at least look at what can be printed out to see if it works for you it saved me and now I can read fluent hiragana and katakana:)
