London Pass - City Guide

This was a great investment. We had planned to visit several locations which made the pass worthwhile, but it was the unexpected and serendipitous visits that increased its value overall.

Until today, this app knowingly lied about admission to the Churchill Bunker. The man at the gate informed us that this crooked company falsely advertised this for the past two years to steal peoples’ money. Shame!

Tried numerous times to contact London Pass with questions on Sunday before travelling to London, but there was no answer to call or to What’s App messages, even though website says open from 10:30am to 4:30pm on Sunday. Very unhelpful and inconvenient. Also then tried to book Shard, only to find website froze before completing booking, but points have been discounted from passes and yet I do not have any confirmation of booking. Also it didn’t discount the price that is supposed to be discounted using the Lon21 discount code, so I have lost additional points etc. They need to step up their game. Very poor experience.

App is nice for planning many things. Still missing some biggies like Churchill War Rooms or the clock tower. Don’t bother selecting favourites as it crashes as soon as you click on the map.

For me the whole process is confusing. I am filled with anxiety as to how it will all turn out.

GoCity promised to extend passes bought before the pandemic started. I filled out the required form multiple times, no answer… and now my passes are expired on the app. STAY AWAY, save your money.

I had purchased Arsenal tickets through the London pass app. After having the charges show up (over $350 CAD. Good seats?) on my credit card, I never received a confirmation email. After doing some digging I found on the london concierge website that the tickets are digital and would be emailed 2-5 business days before the game. The tickets never came. When I emailed support they said they needed the confirmation code in the email they never sent me. I have all the banking information but they have made me to feel I am a liar. They will not refund me. These guys are an absolute scam and disgrace and you do not need them to have fun in London! You can do it yourself! It is cheaper.

The hop on hop off was 48 hours so we decided to use it the night before to check out the sights The next day our pass for the attractions could not be used as the bus counted as our activation day. The help desk was no help and could even begin the help process for three hours

I just downloaded and removed this. Too much time going to get the digital portion to work for my pass. Follow instructions and no go. No next button. This is a bad app. Deleted.

I got this app and paid for a 2 day pass (200 pound) and it was the worst waste of money i ever spent. The attractions are too far apart to get your moneys worth, and you dont get to skips lines as well as it doesnt work for half the things you want to do (ie. the london eye). Save your money, get a different app or just buy the tickets at the attractions you want! 😡
