For such a stellar airline, I am surprised by how difficult it is to navigate the app. From making a booking, to finding where to enter traveler information, there is not a single aspect of this app that does not need a serious overhaul. Do better Lufthansa!
It used to work for checking in, but no more! Especially returning to the US. Absolutely useless app that will take an hour to navigate and correct mistakes that were auto populated. No more emails with a link to check in either if you are returning. You will never get the time back you waste on it, but you will start your journey frustrated and annoyed with the airline and the cabin crew had nothing to do with it. They, at least, are ALWAYS the best part of Lufthansa

Highly racist crew. At first I didn’t realize when the crew came up to the white guy next to me at take off and greeted him in the business class. But when the same thing happened at at landing, I couldn’t ignore it. This when another cabin crew came up to the guy on the window and greeted him and walked away.
Been trying for a week to get a reset link. Customer services are Kafka like.
My flight from Frankfurt was delayed 5 times and they lost my baggage on the way, when my baggage was returned to me, the contents were completely soaked. Now my return flight is delayed and I can only imagine how many more times.
This app it’s horrible full of glitches, impossible to reset password, can’t add any trip because won’t recognize your booking code …and to add on this review , Lufthansa it’s one of the worst airline ever !!! Zero customer service!! Avoid this app and avoid this airline.
It’s a very easy to use app for purchasing tickets, checking in, getting your boarding pass, finding your way around airports, getting updates on your flights/connections and the user interface is lovely.
When traveling to the US with a green card holder, online checkin generally doesn’t work, and produces “unknown” errors.
Lufthansa makes passengers wait until check in to select a basic seat. After paying them a lot for a ticket. As additional insult, they block from changing a seat after check in by getting people stuck in a loop on their site: 1. “You are already checked in Changing your seat selection is only available via Online Check-in -> To Online check-in”. 2. Click the link to check in page, and Lufthansa will loop you back to that horrible page and useless message and link. 3. Hope and pray that some flights are operated by United or another partner and not LH.
