First the need to add history so I don’t just see the last color pressed. Second the app doesn’t seem to work most of the time with push notifications unless the app is still on in the background then maybe you might get one and that’s not guaranteed Third it needs way more customization and option to send to individual people at a time instead of having to create a whole different group

I would love it even more if: 1. 1-to-1 communication were allowed. When I strobe my boyfriend, I’m also strobing my best friend and vice versa. 2. You could preset colors versus hunting and pecking for them along the color wheel.

I bought this can’t get it to connect to Bluetooth or internet. Spent $136.00 for the pair. No customer support available.

Constantly not working

App is tricky, group creation and management is messy, and it’s not the easiest to send/change colors quickly. App is garbage. But the lamp is great!

My girlfriend and I got the lamps since we’re long distance, but were at my place when they arrived. Setting up an account was the first difficulty. We both had to use multiple email accounts to complete that process and now receive daily emails to the email that wasn’t good enough for the app. Then, my girlfriend went home, taking her lamp with her, and now cannot get her lamp to connect. Customer service was able to help add her lamp to the group but it’s sitting in “pending” status with no way to admit it to our group. Additionally, after a power outage, I had to go through the entire setup process again. Completely ridiculous and frankly unacceptable. Save your money and send a text or pick up the phone!

I’ve had my lamp for about two years now and have NEVER been able to use it properly. I gave up trying to fix it along time ago. As it is very frustrating seeing it disconnect all the time and trying to reconnect it. I’ve contacted support before and all they’ve told me is to update the firm ware. How many times do I have to update it for it to work?? And then the app doesn’t have a feature that tells you it’s updated so you never even know unless your lamp works and does the swirl and even then it’s confusing because it’ll stay in that same color or turn off and disconnect again. An “it is updated” feature on the app would be really nice to at least know your lamp is up to date and it could be another issue. I’ve also tried switching the patterns to different things and it has been stuck on swirl sense this app got the feature. A “send” button would be nice and “it has been sent” notification would be great so at least you know youre connected with the lamp. Its just very difficult to pinpoint what the issue is when you don’t have h anything to tell you that stuff is okay or need fixed unless it’s your light… that doesn’t work or is disconnected… It’s very sad because me and my long distant friend were always so excited to use it but got frustrated trying to get it to stop disconnecting every day :( I had an idea of purchasing all my friends one for graduation but the lamp never worked the way it was suppose to and has completely unmotivated me from ever purchasing one again :( this review is late only because to this day, after 2 years of owning this I’m STILL trying to get it to work not just me but my friend too. And the fact we’re having the SAME issues seems like it might not be a “wifi” error :(((

This lamp is absolutely perfect for all things long distance! We have enjoyed using this very much! The app makes it so easy to send your love through the LuvLink app, to the lamp! Definitely recommend

My boyfriend and I got these adorable friendship lamps as a way to connect because we are long distance! They sync up and allow us to change the lamp to different colors to represent how we feel! Perfect gift too!

It connected for a couple months, but it has refused to connect since (had this since 2021). Wi-Fi setup just refuses to work, we usually give up in frustration and unplug it for a month or so before trying again.
