Unable to restore subscription in app purchase
I'greeted with an "product doesn't exist" message when trying to restore my subscription on a new iPad. It's a shame because I can't access anything at all. Payment does work though...

Restauration achat impossible. Précédent numéro non maintenus
Very annoying to get invalid login on iPad but the same login works on android phone. Why pay extra for digital?
Terrible app. Unable to log in. They got my money. No access. No password, no log in, NO ACCESS Terrible experience. I plan to charge back if they don’t supply me with a log in password within 12 hours from now.
I want to subscribe to digital but you only have reviews of your app going back 2 years. Those reviews are universally terrible. But you most recent update is 7 months ago. How is that possible? How is anyone to know your subscription is worth $35? And if have been burned before by generic apps made by cheap designers who sell it to publishers who don’t know they got what they paid for; a buggy app locked into a feature set you can’t change and poor technical support. The publisher gets screwed but ultimately the subscribers do with a poor quality app. Which brings me back why you haven’t allowed reviews in 2 years. I guess I will have to go elsewhere to find subscribers who can tell me if your app is worth your subscription. 1 star for zero transparency
The app takes forever to load when it does load. 90 % of the time it does not recognize my subscription. It is practically unusable. I gave it one star because negative stars are not available.
App is now completely useless. Logging in on the computer for digital is fine, but not via the app.
I have called Make and they say call apple. I call apple and they confirm problem is on Make App side. Make customer service is horrible. Make magazine has good content but not worth my time.
On iPad Air 2 iOS 13.3, after this new update the app runs sluggish as hell! Also I can no longer read any of my past purchases. There’s no option to restore past purchases, and the UI is confusing and not intuitive even if it was running smoothly, basically make deleted all my purchases and now wants me to pay for them again if I want to view them
I was literally in the process of writing a 1 Star review and getting ready to cancel my subscription, but when I opened the App Store I noticed that (finally) there was an update to the Make reader application just 15 hours old. I’m not kidding. The old app was terrible. I had just opened the old app and it took over 2 MINUTES to “Verify my subscription” — during which time I couldn’t even read issues I had already downloaded. Talk about a terrible end-user experience. After two years without an update, I had given up hope that the situation would ever be fixed. But I’m extremely happy to be proven wrong. The new app is like night and day. Reading and navigation on the old app was alway pretty decent (after the interminable opening wait time) and the new app retains some similar functionality but is even better. You can still read in the traditional “magazine” layout style or you can now read with a more free form “web style” interface. Most importantly, it is FAST. No long opening delay, and you don’t even have to download your issue before you can start reading. You still can download purchased issues if desired (which I’m guessing is for access even when not connected to the internet) but there seems to be no requirement to do so. Anyhow, I’m (finally) a happy camper. I’ve always enjoyed the “Make” content and I really wanted to support the whole ethos and ecosystem, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to ignore such bad design and apparent indifference to the customer. Now, I no longer have to.
