INCREÍBLE, pagamos 9€ por la app hace unos años pero son modelo de suscripción, y ahora nos encontramos que han cambiado a ese modelo y ahora me encuentro con que los que hemos pagado nos han quitado la versión pro y nos han puesto la básica, y si queremos de nuevo la version, QUE YA HABÍAMOS PAGADO, tenemos que volver a pagar por una suscripción. Es UNA ESTAFA. He abierto una incidencia a Apple por este asunto. NO COMPRÉIS RESPUESTA AL DESARROLLADOR: Lo siento pero lo que dices creo que es para lavar la imagen. He usado las dos soluciones que has dicho. Restore purchase no funciona, cuando el das al botón no hace nada. Además he contactado contigo vía mail como has puesto para decirte esto mismo y hay cero comunicación. No sé si intentas estafar a la gente o reírte de ella.

La app esta genial, pero tener que pagar una suscripción abusiva para ciertas funcionalidades hace que pierda todo el sentido usarla… Ojalá tuviera pago único para las funcionalidades que NO conllevan inteligencia artificial, ya que entiendo la suscripción cuando se emplea la IA

La aplicación funciona bien de forma general. Es muy cómoda y versátil. La forma tan fácil de crear archivos pkpass es estupenda. Pero tiene varios fallos: 1. Tiene un campo "Add creator field" que no vale para nada. Debería poder modificarse para añadir el nombre del creador de la tarjeta, y no sólo el creador de la app. 2. Cuando estás creando una tarjeta y le das a "Cerrar", pierdes el trabajo (no he sido capaz de recuperarlo). Sería conveniente que preguntara algo como: "¿estás seguro que quieres salir sin guardar?" 3. La imagen QR generada a veces no coincide con el QR original, aunque el código sea el mismo. Se debería poder pegar (insertar) una imagen del QR original dentro del campo "Barcode" para estos casos. Son fallos que no concibo para una app que no es barata. Pero espero que poco a poco se vayan subsanando. Por lo demás, genial.

Pues me lancé a probar esta app para poder llevar mis entradas y tickets de mi viaje al festival de Sitges y ha funcionado a la perfección. Tanto el ticket del Aerobús Barcelona como las entradas a las películas en Sitges han funcionado sin problemas. La creación en sí de los tickets es súper configurable, te permite hacer wallets que parecen oficiales con un poco de trabajo, lo único que echaría en falta es algún tipo de wizard o proceso “rápido” para hacer los pass sin tener que estar trasteando con las opciones.

He intentado generar un ticket de evento de Ticketmaster España a través de una captura de su código QR. Aunque identifica el payload, algo debe de ser distinto porque el pase generado no tiene el mismo QR y no me lo aceptaron al entrar a la sala. Tuve que usar la app oficial, lo cual hizo esta inservible. Con Eventbrite si que genera el QR correctamente.

Update: Pass2U or Passbook are probably better app choices for most of you out there. The AI integration in this app doesn’t do anything other than put the information into the correct blocks for you. Which if they had a template to see what you should actually put in each block, you wouldn’t need in the first place. I thought the AI was going to do something like cool Image art that matches the pass type. For example, I’m going to a Christmas market that requires a ticket, I thought the AI was going to put in a Christmas tree or something cool like that. But what I got was a gray boring looking ticket. I had a hard time figuring out how to use the app to be honest. I don’t know what all the various values/text field affect, on top of that, I don’t know what the various design features of the pass will affect. The developer might consider having a live preview (on iPad and macOS at least) that also highlights the area of the pass that is being edited when in the corresponding text field or UI area. Another app called Details Pro has this type of Live view for people to see their swift UI edits as they make them for app design. Finally, I subscribed to use MakePass UI only to learn the type of QR code that I was trying to make a pass for doesn’t work what so ever. So now I’m out 16$ without a use for the app unless the developer is able to add a feature allowing us to just add a png image of the QR code to the pass instead of the app having to read the code and create it itself 🤷‍♂️ This is why tutorials and in depth explanation of what works and doesn’t would be madly helpful for this technical app. Currently I don’t know how to rate it, I love the idea and the execution is close, however it’s just not perfect and I lost money as it won’t work for my situation. I can’t give it 5 or 4 because of this, I don’t want to give it 1 because I believe that’s harsh. I also don’t want to seem mean to the developer, I know he’s indie and the app overall will work for many I’m sure. I’ll give it a 2 but maybe consider changing to 3 if I’m able to get in touch with the developer or support and figure this out.

Don’t use anything else, and yes you can pay them it works.
