Marktsplaats kept my money
I payed for a second hand product through Marktsplaats Buyer Protection system. The seller sent the parcel but Post NL lost the packed. It has now been more than a month ago and during all that time, Marktsplaats Buyer Protection has kept the money, proclaiming that they can't help before Post NL finds the lost parcel. However the seller told me that Post NL has given up finding the parcel, can not compensate the seller for the last parcel (the reason I don't know). Marktsplaats Buyer Protection says that they then can't pay me back the money. So the Seller lost the parcel, and I lost my money. Marktsplaats kept the amount plus the fee I payed for the so called "protection". What a way to treat their costumers... and all communication has been slow and just the auto answers like: "please be patient" and "we have to wait for Post NL" etc, even that Post NL has finished their "investigation". My guess is that it's a robot or AI system giving answers back. The whole process has been so frustrating for both seller and me and now I don't want Marktsplaats to contact me further with their standard responds. The conclusion is: Post NL lost the parcel and can't find it, they wont compensate the seller for the lost parcel and Marktsplaats Buyer Protection has kept my money I payed for the parcel. I will never use Marktsplaats payments again, only Paypal, Tikkie and Cash. My suggestion to you is: NEVER USE MARKTSPLAATS PAYMENT!
