Mast: for Mastodon

This is a beautiful little app that I’ve been waiting for to access Mastodon with iOS. I like the ergonomics of the UI, overall it’s a pleasure to look at and the little touches like adjusting the colors of the app with a long press are great. There is attention to detail here. The developer’s clear stance on preventing abuse is just the cherry on top, 5/5.

This is a gorgeous and well thought out app that tragically crashes continually on the most mundane of things. From posting a toot to refreshing a timeline or just reading toots is enough. I get less than 2 minutes on average between crashes. I cannot believe that the developer uses mastodon at all as otherwise the slew of new features would simply be ‘fixed crashes’. I really really want this to succeed but I simply can’t recommend it for normal usage yet. When it’s reliable it’s going to be the best masto app out there but right now you need a 2nd app just to be safe.

Stunningly beautiful, well-thought-out and incredibly customizable. I don‘t usually write reviews, but this app is special. Definitely worth the price!

Crashes when adding image to scheduled toot on iPad, every single time. unusable in current state.

It's not. Don't bother. Stick with one of the free third party apps.

This guy’s apps are consistently low quality high fluff and then he abandons them. Not worth it, buy something that will last.

I do not recommend buying this app, because the app hasn’t been updated for more than 2 years many mastodon’s new feature aren’t added to this app. Save your money.

Started using Mast as it has iPad and Mac (and watch) versions — liking it so far!
