Medela Family - Graviditet App

A lot of functionality, but it’s very unstable and pumping sessions become unnecessarily fiddly.

Stopped working since this morning

Me and my wife love this app and it’s functionality. It’s given us a good overview of our baby’s habits through her first week and helped us establish a routine that works well.

Appen kraschar hela tiden. Man kan starta amningsklockan, lämna appen, för att sedan komma tillbaka och klockan har inte alls tickat på. Försöker man redigera någon så stänger appen ner, samma om man är inne på appen för länge så kraschar den..

Just woke up and wanted to add a start of breastfeeding when descovered that nostatistics at all saved in the app and nit possible to add new data.. sad.. i was hoping to use the app and track what is important for our baby… also its a matter if trust as i need this statistics to share with midwife.. so nothing to share tomorrow 😬 3* as in general quite convenient app

Bästa appen som hjälper till att hålla reda på dina och bebisens framsteg och info så som amning, pumpning, blöjbyten, vikt, längd, sovtid m.m. Det finns dessutom massor av nyttig läsning om allt som hör amningsperioden till! Strålande! ❤️

This app is free but only if you have a specific pump by Medela. I’m using a rented Medela Symphony and can’t use the milk storage part of the app. What a huge disappointment.

A little bit funny - but if you enter less than one ounce for a pump session a notice comes up asking if you want to save the session without entering an amount. Medela is judging my supply. Glitchy. Requires an internet connection just for recording pump sessions. Data is not easy to utilize. I'd like to see at a glance how my supply this week compares to last week (possible, but inconvenient). And have insights into what duration and frequency works best for my output.

I used it when I first had my son in 2021 who was in Nicu and I had to track everything to a T. However I never got my pump connected, so just manually entered everything since I used a hospital pump and a hands free as well but still tracked. I still have all my info from that as well which is nice to look back on. A couple months ago my soon to be ex-husband and I separated and are now going through a heated custody battle. I have had to start the pumping game again and this time I’m only using me sonata pump but it still wasn’t available for Bluetooth despite the advertising. So I went online and the saw they still sell and advertise the Sonata as being Bluetooth compatible. I contacted customer service and an update came out or they gave me access and I now can connect which is helpful while dealing with a toddler and pumping. 10/10 would recommend Medela in general! Of course the hospital grade pump is the best but my Sonata is a close second.

Update: The developers listened to my below request and were very quick to address the issue. Thank you team. loved the app so far. But with the latest update the app keeps loading and is super glitchy. There’s no way to enter volume unless you slide the scale. Can we please update this back to how it previously was. Unable to update accurate volume. It’s easier to type in volume
