Getting worse with every update, battlepasses, bad rewards from every event. Meh…
The recent update introduced a paid battlepass that lasts 8 days for 7 bucks with very big rewards. As a compromise they nerfed daily and weekend event rewards to the ground making them not worth doing making the game super pay to win. Not only that, but the recent special events were nearly impossible to complete without buying a time extension or spending money to gem through the event. If you’re looking for a long term fun merge game - this is not it. It’s been on a down hill trend for the last half a year and still isn’t looking up (I’ve been a player for over 2 years).
It was a nice game till you started to make changes on every move… now it is simply a nonsense. It feels like you are forgeting that the board is not an infinite one and you making most of the items temporary ones (they have limited amount of uses). Game becomes simply frustrating and gives no joy anymore.
Shieldmaiden quests are upsetting. Each time the number is rising. Not difficult, but monotony creates a thought of uninstalling the game.
That finger is annoying!!! How to play with him?!
after every update, the game is getting more and more boring.
I’m absolutely in love with this game so far! I play before and after work as a little treat, and it’s very fun. I genuinely love the art style. The portraits are pretty and the blocky game art style is so fun and unique, much preferred to the more “realistic” 3d models in ever other mobile game. So far the game is challenging but not frustrating, and I’m looking forward to progressing the story forward! Probably my favorite merge game I’ve played. No constant overlapping events, no stupid puzzles, none of the usual predatory tactics of most mobile games.
i love this app with all my heart and soul, i look forward to playing it every day but theres no more quests and i feel so lost without them! i keep looking for app updates and am so sad theres none :((((( plz make more! ily <3
This game is truly a unicorn of mobile games, in that the ads show what the gameplay is actually like instead of being something entirely unrelated like so many mobile games these days. I love the artstyle and the story is very interesting and creative! I really appreciate that ads aren’t forced on you, you can choose to not watch them, but there’s also not an arbitrary limit on how many you can watch at a time. So if I want I can put on a few ads to get materials while I do something else. It doesn’t feel too fast. Maybe slightly slow at times but I enjoy it, it lets me feel like I don’t have to Always be playing the game. I can play it for a little bit a day and then go about my other business and be fine. On occasion I wish there was a little more max energy but so far I’ve been getting crystals regularly enough as rewards where I’ve felt fine with using them to get refills once or twice on days where I’ve needed the energy. One minor problem I have is the order of the story. You can unlock cutscenes out of order and it can cause a bit of confusion. I encountered several cutscenes where the characters reference artifacts as if we were presently hunting for them before I ever got the cutscene where we learn what artifacts even are. I don’t know how you’d go about addressing this without limiting the directions the player can go in a way that would be more hindrance than helpful though, so I think it is fine as it is. TL;DR, fun game, lovely story, cute artstyle, and allows me to choose what I do with my time, and I’m happy I chanced downloading it!
Used the clock/watch to boost my generators, didn’t play again for 2 days and the clock was used up but the generators still weren’t finished. The barn still had 16 hours to go! After 2 days of waiting!!!
