I have just started using “Loop” for personal use. It seems to be a hybrid between Teams and OneNote, although I am still learning how to use it. I would be interested in seeing use cases from other people.
Doesn’t synch correctly and has no route to correct, can’t even delete.
I can't even sign in to this app as it quits as soon as I open it.
Loop is one of those products that, when you’re using it, has amazing potential. If you’ve used the app in a web browser you’ll know the component model makes it a next-gen wiki / collaboration platform. The iOS / iPadOS app is a different story. Significantly lacking in almost every aspect, its little more than a notepad with some additional features. Want to order pages, forget it. Want to set icons and other identifiers for the page, forget it. Want to swap to the web view to work around the limitations, forget it. All in all. Loop is a great but the app experience is pretty abysmal.
I love this app, for me has been easier and way more appealing than Notion. It would be great to be able to add comments on selected text but I can wait for it to come soon. Enjoying the app everyday :)
Great to see Microsoft really up the pace over the last 2/3 years. Loop really starts to bring things together and workspaces is a game changer for me. Way to go but positive progress.
For users of the Microsoft ecosystem, Loop offers a lot of potential. As an interactive workspace, that integrates across 365, the collaborative opportunities are tempting. It’s still relatively early days for the Windows version, which is still lacking some critical functionality to attract users away from other platforms like Notion. I could live with these limitations if the iOS app wasn’t so woefully lacking. It’s full of bugs, and painful to use. My main pain point is when editing a page (iPad Pro on latest OS and magic keyboard) the view jumps and the live typing area disappears from view. Also the app flicks between dark and light theme at will. That’s enough for me to stop wasting my time when better alternatives exist. It feels like an MVP on Windows, but it feels like the iOS version is a dev version. The lack of cross platform compatibility is a deal breaker. I might come back if/when Loop gets serious.
Best ms app
The app doesn’t display any of the workspaces which I have created and display on the Windows app / web version.
