Mila Air

Have had a lot of trouble with the three units I have going offline and thinking nighttime is during the day. Not sure how well these actually clean but I’ve had 3 units for over 3 years now. The price I don’t think matches what use you get out of them especially if they aren’t cleaning.

Purifier works great. But so do lots of others. Their app features could really set them apart, but they don’t add the great features that so many are suggesting and asking for that would make Mila a superior. The HomeKit integration is very poor as well.

The air purifier seemed to work ok until after one update the unit never reboot again. How can you sent an update that crashes the whole unit?! Good luck getting the company to take responsibility for that disaster.

Have had it for a long time and it continues to help keep stuff out of the air. Thanks!

I feel like the impact you have had on my air breathing life could be equally appreciated in my water drinking life! Mila rocks!

This app is clean and offers some great features. Pretty stable and nice interface for interacting with air filters. My only request is please make a dark mode for the app. For some reason this app is the brightest white background app I’ve ever used. That’s even after using my advanced display settings to reduce the white filter point to dim my display darker when my brightness is already set to 0.

Issue 1: Their sign up process intentionally does not let you paste a password when creating an account. Super annoying for folks who want to use a password manager to generate a secure password. Why do companies do this? It makes me just want to use 1234 as my password. Issue 2: If you have multiple units in different rooms, you can only create a new room during device setup. No empty rooms allowed, no option to skip device setup. There is no UI button to create a new room, you just spam tap the 3D grid until it prompts you to create a new room, then add the device. You cannot do this after device setup without completely removing it from your account. Don’t do what I did and add both to the same room expecting to move it later. Issue 3: If you use a different email address for the app sign up than the one you used to order, it will not give you any dashboard information (just errors) and you won’t see any options to order new filters. You have to create a second Mila account with the address you ordered from and add it as a household member to view that information. Very annoying. I hope the product quality is better than the app user experience. It’s been 1 hour and I am not impressed…

Broke a few days out of warranty. Constantly disconnected while it did work and top screen functionality was hit or miss. The app is intuitive but once again only as good if your Mila stays working

Buttons are hard to press and function. Machine cannot connect to wi-fi no matter how hard I tried. Keeps saying that I have the wrong wifi password or that I am too far to the router (it is right next to it). So disappointed

Little experience with these things but seems to do its job assuming the digital display is accurate — goes a bit crazy when I cook and calms down in time.. Needs maintenance and cleaning re dust build up and filter changes but I suppose that is the case with all of these devices.. Have not really used the app so I can’t speak of that..
