Mindly (mind mapping)

The navigation and animations are smooth. However, I would appreciate a wider range of colors, the ability to shape the chart as a tree instead of a ring, and the ability to re-color all the nodes in a parent at once.

Love this App, I wish there was a version for Windows platform.

I use this application for many projects ideas & even life planning and goal. I love it’s simplified use case but I think it’s a bit too simple to the point that some necessary features are missing to keep its this simple.

Great things about this app It’s set up to get info down quickly. You can add a note to any bubble with several paragraphs worth of info that stays out of the way until you need it. You can move and organize the bubbles in any order after they’ve been created with simple drag and drop. These features make this app excellent. Not so great thing about the app If you make more than 6 bubbles in a hub it stops being centred in the middle of the screen, and moves inexplicably to the corner of the screen and hides any additional bubbles. You can spin the wheel of bubbles to see the ones you’ve added but then it spins and hides the other ones. In an organizing sense this is a bad decision, as you don’t have full view of your ideas for organizing, and half of your ideas are hidden off screen quite unnecessarily. Even with 12 or 15 bubbles in a hub there is still enough room to have the hub centred like it is with 6 or less bubbles. Please change this part of the app and I’ll gladly give you my money and stars.

This is one of the better mind mapping tools for iOS that I have tried. It allows for quick data entry through intuitive buttons. Getting the data out is also easy, but integrating the resulting mind map with anything else, like a website or a Word document, is more difficult because of a lack of controls. One issue is that there is no way to scale each node, meaning text that exceeds what the developer presupposes should be "enough" is simply cut off and lost. Another issue is that there is only one layout available, one way to represent the data entered, and that one way doesn't scale or have any controls for scaling. If you go beyond beyond one branch level, the labels become too tiny to read, especially on exporting, and are so spread out as to be useless visually. If there were different layouts, font size controls, or a way to scale the final circular representation, it would be great. Controls to change the length of the branch line so that all data isn't represented in a single, massive circle once you reach two branches would be welcome. Sadly, there are no useful controls to change or adjust data representation at all. Lastly, if you need something that shows data accessibly, this isn't it, either, since all text is white, period. This means that choosing lighter colours for each node makes the node labels unreadable. The goal of this app seems to be speed and intuitive node creation, but besides changing node colours it lacks any tools for adjustment of data to ensure clear representation outside the app itself. If you're looking for a tool to get ideas out of your head for personal reference and/or to use in the app itself, this is an excellent tool. If you want something to help you do that quickly, this is the best I have come across. But if you want something where that can be shared with others in any way at all, look elsewhere.

Got a 97% because of it

I love using my web map app for all my ideas. Helps me stay super organized and detailed when I need to be about my to do’s. As someone who has tons of maps I would love to be able to have a same colour default. I have very few colours I like to repeatedly look at and it becomes very tedious and annoying to manually switch the setting to same colour each time. I’d also love to see connected webs together in the future. Maybe the ability to draw lines between ideas and have settings of one giant “map” with the ability for drawing and tens of ideas off multiple directions of leads

I use this app to trace who and how clients found my unadvertised therapy business. My work is msj Ku by refers and word of mount. It’s a very useful interface but I wish I could link more bubbles together from one end of the screen to the other using coloured lines.

A little annoyed I had to pay $40 for the desktop version then pay again for the mobile version.
