MitID

I tried to migrate to a new phone, but it just gives an error message no matter what method I try for signing up. After going thru the whole process of scanning my passport, it just gives an error message and a broken link in the end. Same problem when I try to use the QR code method, and for that you have to wait an hour between each try. I hate this app. It is the only reason I cannot get rid of my old phone.

Garbage app, scanning features don’t work and the chip reading is impossible. Just go and book an appointment in person.

Extremely bad app

yeah thanks to this app and the limited capabilities of the danish governement, I now need to leave my international research project and fly back to Copenhagen so I can get a verification code. The passport scanning doesn’t work, the facial recognition doesn’t work, and the people on phone support are clueless. Absolute joke of an app that controls nearly everything for danish residents. Giving it negative star would be the best review.

Moving is stressful enough. This merely adds layers to the stress. How can it be that nobody can have the face scan successful and they keep this app up? They need to close this app or fix it asap. I wasted hours

After some 50 attempt, I am going to try one more time after this review. It took many attempts to get to the last step, scanning my face. And that last stem has proved impossible. It does not see that my face and the photo of me in my passport is one and the same person

ja, mitid appen siger den skal opdateres, men i appstore er der ingen opdatering. Den side hos digitaliseringsstyrelsen hvor man kan rapportere problemer er så nede, så der kan man ikke rapportere noget.

The app needs more work

Got a new phone just so I could use the newest version of MitID. Have tried repeatedly with both passport and ID card, different lighting, etc. and still get either ‘an error has occurred’ or facial recognition failure. What a joke. So I guess I have to take time off work to go to borgerservice.

I have never written a review in my life but feel like now is the time. This app simply does not work and I am being withheld medical information because of it. Horrible app that does not function. Deserves 0 stars
