Mobile Cooling

Paired with a CFX5-35. It’s a complete failure of an app. Doesn’t show any historical data. All the other functions are the same to the cooler built in screen.Don’t advertise an app if it’s not working properly. And Looking at the many negative reviews it’s been this way for a long time. On a positive note. The cooler is super nice and very energy efficient. So the one star is only for the app. The cooler is 5 stars. Fix your app please

I’m using this app for my new CFX5 75. The app does not show the amp hours in DC. For some reason, the lowest I can set the temp on the app is 18 degrees. If I want to set either zone as a freezer, I have to do it on the fridge itself.

This app used to work flawlessly with my CFX3 75DZ and now it won’t connect to Blue Tooth at all. App won’t detect while pairing. It’s been many months of trying and contacting Dometic with no response or resolution.

Notifications don’t work on iPhone. The app doesn’t even appear in the notifications center. The only reason to get a Bluetooth/wifi enabled cooler is to get notifications when cooing temperature rises above a preset limit. Without that the app is worthless. IOS 18.1.1

I paired the app with my new CFX 75 and the WiFi will not stay connected. Furthermore, I believe the ap causes the screen on the fridge to malfunction. It looks scrambled when connected to the app, but normal when the app is fully disconnected .

How long can it take to fix this app? You’d expect a company like Dometic to stand behind their products. Since the update the most important feature of tracking amp hours is in usable. Please fix it!!

Why does the app have the perspective of the back of the power cooler? Feel like this app could be so much more than it is. Update: this appears to be resolved. I enjoy using the app to make sure the cooler is staying cool and to be able to adjust the temperature on demand.

The app is easy to navigate and has helpful options such as battery protection, temperature monitoring, power source and draw. The only thing I’ve run into thus far is the ah/h part of the graph doesn’t display any data. Perhaps there’s a fix I’m unaware of?

The new app does not connect to the cfx, isn’t the whole idea of the app to connect to your fridge? The old app worked just fine, the new app won’t connect via Bluetooth on either android or iPhone. This is a very poor outcome from Dometic to release software that has clearly not been tested. These appliances are expensive and it is expected that they work as advertised. I have factory test my fridge and removed the previous Bluetooth connection from my iPhone neither of these solutions worked. Clearly the app is flawed. Received a reply from the developer 10 months after posting the review. Clearly Dometic have no interest in their customers.

This update is Brutal. My unit doesn’t cool properly and there is zero history being recorded.
