This app was designed and created by Eimear and Aoife, two specialist Pelvic Health Physiotherapists, to support Mums through their postnatal recovery. With a combined experience of 20 years helping women after childbirth, we recognise that Mothers need more support to guide them through the changes in their body after pregnancy. In the UK and Ireland, on average 12 medical appointments are offered in pregnancy, but only one postnatal check-up for Mum!
Although experts in postnatal care, we are also Mothers who have been through this journey and understand how vulnerable and unprepared you can feel. Pregnancy and delivery takes it toll on the body, but when baby arrives Mum’s recovery often takes a back seat. This app provides Mothers with the advice and support we feel they deserve. Including pelvic floor reminders and 84 daily videos focusing on pelvic floor rehabilitation, general strengthening to help your body meet the demands of motherhood and advice from a team of medical professionals to help guide you through the 4th trimester.
No topic is off limits, we talk about constipation, sex, leaking, hormones, prolapse,farting, diastasis, back pain and return to exercise after birth. We discuss each of these openly and honestly to normalise what women may experience after birth, and offer practical and professional advice that many mums need after delivery.
A number of other women’s health experts feature within the app. Topics they cover include skin changes after pregnancy, coping with parenting, postnatal mental health, stitches care, pain management, bleeding, tears explained, nutrition, birth trauma, hemorrhoids, contraceptives, smear tests and hair loss.
The app also includes 30 rehabilitation sessions led by women’s health Physiotherapists, to reconnect your core, strengthen your pelvic floor and prepare your body for the daily demands of motherhood. And for those interested in returning to exercise, these sessions will help you on your way.
The importance of pelvic floor exercises cannot be underestimated after pregnancy but when baby arrives its hard to find the time or even remember to do them. This is why the app also includes a daily reminder for pelvic floor rehab and numerous videos on how to do them correctly. Download this app now, your future self will thank you!

Great app- used it for recovery postpartum. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to search something. Do I have to scroll through every video to find the one I'm looking for ?

This app has guided me through the highs and lows of the postpartum period. I will be sad and a little lost when I get to day 84 and don't have the daily reminder to do my pelvic floor exercises or the guidance of postnatal exercises. The educational videos are highly applicable, concise (which every new mom needs) and holistic. This education tool that these two women have created for postnatal moms is something that maternity services nationally need to get on board with.

Great investment in yourself for your postpartum journey. Videos come at the right time to help with explanation of all that’s happening and the rehab to help recovery. Second time mam and just wish I had this on my first!

I really enjoyed the variety of educational videos for the first 6 weeks postpartum as they were aligned perfectly with what I was going through myself. The second half of the app with 6 weeks of rehab was fantastic. I completed it and am going back through the videos again with a heavier weight. Highly recommend this app for new moms!

Such a helpful resource

I love this app and have recommended it to so many of my friends who are due their babies soon. It answered so many of my questions in the early days after my daughter was born and the videos are so accessible and easy to understand. I felt like I was getting advice from a friend and felt so supported and reassured. As my PP journey continues, I have found the rehab videos excellent in helping me to build a bit of structured movement into my day. I love that they are all about 15-20 minutes long, as it is so hard to find the time to exercise with a 3 month old. This is such a helpful resource for anyone who has recently had a baby and I cannot recommend it enough!

Downloaded the MoCo app for my second pregnancy. Brilliant educational content in short bite size videos perfectly timed to coincide with your 4th trimester journey! The most invaluable piece for me was the 6 weeks of rehab videos which have given me back my pelvic floor & core strength. I wish I had this app first time around, it has made a massive difference to my post partum recovery. I have been recommending to everyone!! Thank you

I downloaded this app before I had my daughter. It is amazing. It has so much wonderful advice. I love how it is day-by-day. When I clicked in I found myself saying ‘ah that’s why I feel like this’ or ‘oh that’s what’s happening’. The rehab exercises are amazing. You would pay so much more for a class/Pilates. And here are rehab videos by a qualified women’s health physio. It is an excellent app. Really informative. I recommend it to all mothers!

Wish I had had this for my first baby. On my second and 3 weeks in I find it excellent. Useful, practical tips for the huge physical, emotional and mental changes that come with child birth and a tiny baby.

I can’t recommend this app highly enough to all mums it is such a powerful tool to aid with postpartum recovery. The app is full of useful information about what to expect in those early weeks of recovery and I love how it normalises so many things that we feel and experience especially things we probably wouldn’t feel we could discuss with others. It really has empowered me to be more open about how I’m feeling both physically and mentally. The six weeks of exercises are also great to start off and build confidence before going back to higher impact sports and activities. I think this is a resource that all new mums should have. As a second time mum, I wish this existed when I had my first baby but am so glad it’s here now.

I was so lucky to find this app after the birth of my second born. It has been invaluable to me since day 1 and should be recommended to all pregnant women. It really helped me navigate those first few often difficult weeks and offered me such support and a feeling I wasn’t alone postpartum.
